To be fair, it could be as few as three years, that was true after the late 1970's inflation, though prices never returned to pre-Carter levels, they did at least get back down close in 1983. SO then perhaps in as few as 3 years, but I suspect it will be 10 That someone of your meager intellect when it comes to economics does not understand this is reasonable. To be clear, some costs have come down. Energy costs and other important areas have come down as hoped, and are a welcome reprieve to people who recently suffered through the work economy of their lifetime. Tariffs are a minor impact to inflation, they are more market centric, whereas feal impacts across the spectrum come from say labor...which has been increasing. I do not recall you being concerned during the Biden era, certainly not as much as you appear to be today, in fact I recall you defending him. So if we see a right of the decimal rise in june and then an equal decrease in july.....are you going to have some other story, or at that point will you accept the normal ebb and flow of iinflation in the below "3s" as we always see as just part of the flow?

Sure, three months was my estimate, but given that it is far more likely the minor uptick was due to labor.....it really doesnt matter one way or another. When inflation causes prices to rise....those prices do not lower as inflation lowers.....this is how economics works, that you do not understand or appreciate this factor is problematic

I see this as more of the fracturing of the Democrat party than anything else. The far left radicals hold too much influence now, they hate everything and everyone, notably this nation. So as they grow the Democrat polling will go down. The leftists hate moderate Democrats as much as Republicans. So I think we are watching a party splinter into two. Prices were run up by Biden, simply lowering the rate as Trump has does not fix prices....this is simple economics....and as I stated over the years....simply lowering inflation wont fix the problem. That Biden allowed it to fester like he did was criminal because once you run it up as he did, it takes years to wring it out of the economy....that is why we should face it, not lie like Democrats....
