Trump can offset this to some degree by throwing the questions CNN will avoid as they work diligently to protect him.

Maybe. I do not presume that they need to be..... There could be people with the skills, and a variety of inconsequential factors...... which could help the paper. Its the racists who work there who focus on the skin color and gender instead of ability.
