Of course they do..... Everyday, people do this very thing. They establish hard-fast operating stances. One such example is supporting abortion, those people deal in absolutes...as do their opponents... Now, you might be thinking of your own malleable moral stances, and projecting those out. But most of us have stances that we take, and if we are intellectually honest we hold to them, until new evidence emerges that refutes, and then we can grow. Now, you might want to resist the whataboutisms.....dragging Trump in is a lazy tactic. What we should all want to know....is just what those people throwing money at the Bidens received in return. Unless we know that, then this is all much about nothing....

I agree. I think it will require a total solution. Starting with the youngest of children, but touching on the AA community in total. Employment is a key element, building a more solid home environment is another essential piece. Ultimately, we have to confront a culture that celebrates criminality and abhors "selling out"......and flip that narrative completely.

I think you might be applying the Democrat method of action, move with absolutely haste.....damn the law and processes....just take your opponent down, no matter what it takes.... The Civil Rights act inspired the replacement of the black father with the state, and was profoundly destructive to the the most positive force in the AA community....two-parent homes....few actions of the Democrats were as powerful as this one in harming that community, later they used the criminal justice system to ensure black fathers were further removed.....

I think you have touched on something. But I think there is more to it. Initially the Democrats really hampered their progress, and then later when they started to make some headway the Democrats hammered them with Jim Crow....and then later when they really started to progress the Democrats just hammered them with the Civil Rights Act and War on Drugs....and then later again with their criminal justice policy.... So there has been a sustained war on the African american segment of society by Democrats, and the ability of that political movement to do them harm continues even to this very day.
