  1. I know, but I prefer to not waste too much time playing that game....when the real point matters much more. Life was better under Trump, and people seem to realize this in enough quantity that polling shows us some hope.
  2. I have worked in the corporate wing for years......we never price to gouge, we price to be competitive. When costs rise.....whether that be from taxes.....or policy changes.....regulatory elements.....salaries..... whatever, we bake that into the cost. Corporations are not taking advantage, they have metrics to meet. So when they raise prices it is to meet the stated plan. When government floods the market with money, you have more money chasing fewer goods....and you get inflation. That translates into costs. The government is effectively handing out money to people, and charging them for that money through inflation.....and then end up paying much more than they were handed. It is only too easy to say those mean corporations are just making too much money, but that is not true. Democrats do not understand simple economics, we see this in their policies and they tell us with their words This lack of economic understanding explains why they cannot grasp how damaging their policies are....
  3. As usual, offers nothing but some sarcastic line from the peanut gallery.....there was a time when you had value. What a waste.
  4. When things cost more, wages going up are less of a "feel good". If we place the current economy next to what they had under the prior administration, people will favor the prior one. Making less money, but being able to buy more just feels better than making more money, but not being able to afford what you want or need.....
  5. I will do that, thanks for your always insightful.....and useful contribution to the forearm.....
  6. This has a level of complexity. I think for a slice of people, inflation is an inconvenience.... but for those in the lower strata....who were already living week to week on their meager income....inflation is absolutely devastating. We should always look at inflation as a wrecking ball hitting the lower classes.
  7. Credit card debt supports your assertion about living above their means, but we would need to break out spending patterns, I recall reading that people are leveraging credit cards just to get by.....inflation has a disproportionate harm to the lower classes who were already living close to the edge. For example, when inflation arises you or I simply adjust our spending. Maybe we eat out less, or hold off on a large purchase, or become more selective in basic necessity acquisitions.... For the less affluent, its a matter of eating.....period.....making rent.....just sustaining the simple things to exist. So when I see Democrats, notably Biden, shrugging it off.....I mean, that is some seriously sinister way of thinking.... on their part
  8. Only....no.....I think there is certainly racism to be found everywhere, on the campus of columbia.....and harvard.....we can see it on MSNBC every day.....if I were to head to certain areas of downtown Baltimore, I would experience violent racism....so I think we can presume it lives out there....but I think it is worse anywhere you find Democrat policies that are dominant
  9. I would tend to not dispute these assertions. Though I will allow that there are some opinions out there which add more context, I think your points have merit. I might add that the economy is doing well for those who are more affluent, and less so for the less affluent.
  10. The harm is disproportionately hitting the lower classes. If you have means, are affluent, you find it rather good. Its an economy for the elites at the expense of the lower classes.
  11. I do.....I see those places where AA's are the most harmed, and they are Democrat hotbeds.....where that political ideology has dominated for decades.
  12. Interesting revision of my statement...."now that racism is isolated to pockets where Democrats are most dominant.....we still have work to do" I might suggest you consider, showing me evidence of racism.....anywhere, lets just start with that.....and racism is not simply "oh there is a confederate flag"...nope....racism is active harm toward AA's.....like in NYC where there is murder, lack of economic opportunity and non'AA's getting benefits over that community.....show me racism where its impacting. I am not interested in the spectral "its just out there......", nope, show an outcome....like the plight of these people in Oakland....maybe start there....or Chicago..... and lets see who has been running the show in those locations where actual racism.....the harm to AA's is evident.
  13. The legislation they pushed through was akin to gasoline on a fire, many people warned about this, but they did it anyway because....y'know, fock the people.....I think few people appreciate that when Manchin stopped him from really focking us over, he effectively saved Biden....
  14. It was great. People trying to live today find the going rather difficult, which is what trotting out things like " the GDP"" just pisses them off.... Biden missed the change to deal adequately with inflation, as well as the opportunity to blame it on Trump when it was clearly happening, instead he lied....people made financial decisions based on his lie. Later he lied again....calling it transitory, and again not blaming trump, odd eh? That lie also found people making financial decisions based on a falsehood..... Now he lies about inheriting inflation, and celebrates its slowing....which was in fact just the Fed firefighting the economy away from his stupid mistakes, and by the way only slowed it to a place where it is still too high... What Democrats fail to understand with their menial economy mental acuity is that once you create inflation, you cannot simply turn it off.....it is a tax mostly on the lower classes....for years....

    This economy is so bad

So then....Trump did not ruin the good thing he inherited, like Biden did? Trump made good decisions, that resulted in a good economy? Unlike Biden? Maybe.....I will have to ponder this point a little further.

No, CNN destroyed the lackluster attempt on the part of Gutter to trot out the lie that Pelosi herself could not defend. But it might make it easier for you to pretend things were better, and for the affluent Biden has been rather friendly....its the majority of average people he has focked over....
  17. It was very good, and notably for the lower classes and disproportionately for the AA community. That you would prefer this not be true is part and parcel of Democrat doctrine.

    This economy is so bad

You might think so, and there might be a few economists that agree with you, but I trust the ones who have done the research
  19. I am saying you think they are excluding COVID, but those are still baked in.... and no matter how hard you try to reframe it, as Democrats are doing here and there, it isnt working....what you are selling, people are no longer buying,. I tend to trust the WSJ more than your regurgitation of political propaganda

    This economy is so bad

You are pretending COVID was not the reason for the job losses, and then the simple and natural recovery for their restoration. Again, Pelosi tried this lie, CNN caught it and actually called it out, then she doubled-down on the lie and accused the interviewer of "carry water for Trump" because you see....as Behar noted on the view, you should lie for Biden to avoid Trump. Which is what you are doing.

  22. Agree with your approach. Now, Tell me how those people you mentioned, enact legislation that harmed the AA community....or is there flag the source of the harm? By way of example, lets say.....there were 100 job available in one of these locales....and those horrible flag people brought in a bunch of people from the Phillipines who took most of those jobs, and those meaner managers gave the money and a place to stay....which they denied those AA's for decades, now THAT is some proof of racism

Economy was thriving, the situation was great....and people remember, and they will vote that criminal Biden out of office, the stage is set....once we can get back to good policy we will have to see how long it will take to unfock the damage done, but I have hope.
  25. Not buying that for a moment lol, I have already seen those numbers elsewhere, and they are part of it.....when Pelosi was pinned down on her lie watching her squirm was delightful, but you do you, it matters little....I have every reason we can get Biden out the door, and get back to good common sense policy.
