I am a realist, and will not be swayed by the false pronouncements of people who try to pretend away the bad things. It might be easy for you to ignore what is happening to them, but I know that later....it will come back to us all.....so there is no value in trying to pretend it away.

He also apparently does not remember when he castigated Trump in 2019 for halting weapons to Israel.....y'know, the thing he has done himself? Yeah, and the classified documents thing, where he was so indignant...and then ...whooops! I cannot recall a man so undeserving of his position.....

Its a great question. My gut tells me he will not. But you can never be sure with him. He likes to be unpredictable, which is why his foreign policy was so effective.

Correct, the lower class is being disproportionately harmed, whereas the more affluent can enjoy better outcomes. For those lower classes it absolutely is the worst in their lifetime, no matter how hard you want to pretend it away.....you or the President.....

I will not stop standing up for people who have been harmed and face the worst economy of their lifetime, not a chance. I leave that to folks such as yourself, who would otherwise pretend to care.....except where its no longer politically convenient.

I have no problem with him doing exactly what he was empowered to do, nor that he stood up for himself. Its exactly what we need in a President. Which is why he was so effective, and likely would be again.

Our best hope is that Biden continues to lie to people about the economy, this element could rise above abortion in terms of effectiveness in moving voters more to the conservatives..... I hope he does a dozen more interviews where he tells people they are wrong for being mad about their plight.....its helping considerably to secure his removal.....

Trump had the right, as President, to do so.... no one seems to care about this fact. He had the right to object to their move to pretend he somehow unable to do what every other President had done. Hell, even Joe Biden took some stuff.....as many politicians assuredly have done, of course those who were not President were not allowed.... This is just another attempt to find a toe-hold, some reason....any reason....to take down a political opponent. Because that is what they are doing, it inspires alot of people to back him.....

You and I clearly agree. It was a waste of time and effort to change the name in the first place, and its perhaps an even worse waste of time to change it back. This was my position from the jump. I think those changing it back are just pushing back against people changing things. There are those who insist on changing, and there are those who insist on NOT changing. IMHO.....they are both focking stupid.

I think this notion of renaming schools, tearing down statues and recreating mascots is indicative that people are running out of ways to suggest racism is real, so in a sense I see it as a win because it could be the harbinger of the end of the whining and a shift toward just living life. So is a net positive IMHO. None of this silliness amounts to anything other than wasted time. Time that could be spent improving things that deliver value. But if this is how they want to spend their time, let them have at it. To me its the same thing as people drinking alcohol to "feed better", in the end it wont give then what they want.
