    This economy is so bad

Its about inflation, which has a magnifying impact as you work into the lower economic strata. To oversimplify, while impacting all....its does not impact equally. Those in the middle class and above react by delaying large purchases, vacations and eat out less often....by way of example...... but for the lower classes its markedly different.... you dont buy milk this week, or bread or other minimum staples..... your life, which was not easy to being with, becomes just miserable.... especially as you maybe watch your family suffer. The impact of this inflation is just brutal to lower classes.....FAR more harmful than almost anything else you can do to them..... The inflation rate during 2008 was much lower at 3.84% far less harmful than the8.5% which has been true for the last couple of years. The actions taken by the Federal Reserve are different now than they were in 2008. The Fed cut interest rates from 5.25% in Sept. 2007 to 2% in April 2008 to pump the economy.... right now they are raiing them...... the impacts are not equal across all socioecomic strata Now the Federal Reserve is raising interest rates to cool the economy and help bring down inflationy and have raised the rate and more increases are expected. Economic performance today best mirrors what folks across the country went through in the 1970s. The recession started as inflation climbed to over 5% and in response, the Federal Reserve raised interest rates to cool the economy just like the U.S. is seeing today. The 2008 crisis was institutions failing or being bailed out as those losses became apparent. This time around, the root problem isn't bad loans. Rather, the Fed's rapid tightening has created paper losses for banks that made loans or bought long-term bonds when rates were much lower. 2008 was destruction at every level, today is the focused destruction of the lower classes, and its far worse for them today than it was in 2008

Even voters who regard him with fear and distaste remember that he oversaw a non-inflationary boom as president.

    This economy is so bad

This is a lie, I acknowledged it, in fact I predicted it back then.....and there were no shortage of people like you who ignored it....and me.... And here we are again, I am putting it down for you, and you want to ignore it....pretend its not happening as I have ascribed....you can lie yourself all you want, but you cannot lie to them....

    This economy is so bad

It is the truth, that you continue to deny it is pathetic. I am absolutely biased against liars and people who ignore the plight of others. You insist upon ignoring it, but you cant forever.....not unlike Biden who also tried to pretend it all away, eventually you run out of runway....

    This economy is so bad

People are suffering more than they ever have in their lifetimes. You should care about that. Instead you want to pretend everything is just fine to protect a political power.... and you have NO shame about this....

    War in Israel

Israel knew this from the jump. In fact, these pieces were......magically being set just prior to the October attack..... That is why I was predicting all of this well before it happened....but I digress.... THIS.....will be a problem..... Hezbollah is no joke. They are the real deal. An effective and ruthless military force. I have been.......near them......for a short time..... they should be respected. This will test Israel like nothing that has come before.
  14. Probably not the best tact for someone who sits over there near the likes of Maddow, Reid and Hostin.....just sayin.....

    This economy is so bad

Well done sir. Salient points based on market I might presume to add one item to the third paragraph.....markets are keenly dialed in to policy actions. We watch like a hawk, the matriculations of government policy are an annual review for us. So when they lie, it can be frustrating. As with inflation not being real, or being transitory....we were scratching our heads because everything pointed to another conclusion....in the end, they were simply lying...

And you think a bubble is bad..... why? I mean, they happen all the time, in various markets..... and if you play them correctly you win.... Why is that so bad?

    This economy is so bad

Correct. Nothing you have stated refutes the current lived experiences of the lower economic strata, and notably the student forgiveness will make it worse....

I concur, I remain in my position that this signals something positive, not negative...
  19. Truth can be rather scary and intimidating. And when it arises that truth finally reaches a liberal the first move is often denial.
  20. It is also true that inflation harms minimum wage earners differently....so those making minimum wage today, have never experienced an economy this harsh.....sure they are employed(in many cases with more than one job) and sure wages are higher....but inflation is out pacing it.... So when Biden shoved all that money into the economy, of course it would create inflation. The game is simple, hand out money and people vote for you......later.....when inflation comes, it consumes MORE than the money you handed out to them. What we then do.....to these lower classes is sinister......we are not merely pulling back progress made, we are removing their ability to climb out.....they pay for all that money disproportionately.... You and I pay for it, but it hurts us less.....and not quite as long..... our damage is say......1X, but the damage to these lower classes is different....its 10X People who in 2019 could see hope and potential, will never have it now....THAT is what this reckless spending spree to buy votes is doing....
  21. Could we consider that perhaps they are consistently saying their lives are the worst in their memory....and that they are correct? And if we can consider that, what if we then considered approaching the issue of inflation in a way that alleviates that pain? By way of example, could we NOT conduct student debt relief, for now, and wait until inflation is wrestled into control.....rather than employ such a policy.....since we know it makes inflation worse?
  22. Of course....of course.....these peasants are just ungrateful.....they should suck it up and be happy right?
  23. Most Americans weren't born the last time the federal minimum wage bought as little as it does today. It's been nearly 13 years since Congress raised the nation's baseline pay to $7.25 an hour, and that rate is now worth less than at any time in 66 years, a new analysis finds.
