Nope. I think your inclination to not talk about this, but instead try to corner me into some absolute is perhaps a path you could reconsider.... As I stated, perhaps that was the worst thing he did....I find it objectionable that he lied rather than help the people of this nation Not adding to the problem will have a profound impact to stem it, past that.....there is alot of work to do and the Fed will need to be more aggressive......cant happen now since their main move is to be elected.....and in the meantime the people harmed can apparently go fock themselves as far as the Democrats are concerned. Later, mainly due to the mentality you have demonstrated and which is being replicated in media and liberal circles, I foresee Trump returning to the WH. If past performance is a decent measure, he will again employ good policies....my question is how extreme he will have to be in order to unfock this situation....

    This economy is so bad

Want to put this on some billboards? We need to get this information out there brother.....everyone needs to be told this.

Its typically not "one thing" this was just an easily harvested example. When we look deeper into it, we can see mistakes here and there....a problem is rarely a univariate issue. Perhaps worse than anything else...... was the active ignoring of the impacts as they became evident, and the missed opportunities to deal with it early on so as to at least mitigate some of the harm.....all those months gaslighting people that their observations of inflation were not true made things worse than they needed to be.... This inclination to say "thats not true, what you are experiencing isnt true, look at this economic measure which says your reality is fake....." is proving to be ineffective as a solution

I am surprised you are unaware, it suggests that you do not posses the knowledge to really speak about the subject thoughtfully.... or....you are actively looking for reasons to defend him.... hard to know what your motivations might be, but we know Biden is the main culprit One example of an explanation

I provided some evidence, how people are living is what matters.....and trotting out metrics so as to suggest to them that its not true, well, we can already see how that is manifesting.... Now if you want talk about it forthrightly I am all about that, but this thing where you say no thats not true is just not standing up to scrutiny...so pretend away, its making sure Trump wins... How voters feel about the economy: 4 takeaways from the latest polls Inflation and high prices remain the electorate’s top concern and dominate voters’ assessment of the economy. In a just-released Economist/YouGov survey, 22% of voters identify inflation/prices as their most important issue, compared to only seven percent who cite jobs and the economy. According to a Data for Progress analysis, 68% of those who put inflation and prices first named the cost of food as their principal concern, followed by housing (17%), utilities (eight percent), and gas (three percent). Despite some modest recent improvement, voters’ sentiments about the economy remain negative. A recent Wall Street Journal (WSJ) survey found 31% of voters endorse the proposition that the economy has improved over the past two years, up by 10 percentage points since December. In another sign of progress, a New York Times (NYT) survey from early March found that 26% regard economic conditions as excellent or good, up from 20% since last July. Still, 74% of the NYT respondents regard the economy as only fair (23%) or poor (51%). And as an analysis of the WSJ data shows, inflation is still the main reason why economic sentiment remains depressed. More than two-thirds of voters say that inflation is headed in the wrong direction, and nearly three-quarters say that price increases are exceeding gains in household income. This helps explain why only 24% of voters expect the economy to get better over the next 12 months. The Economist/YouGov survey helps us understand how key subgroups of the electorate are feeling about the economy. Only 22% of Black Americans, 13% of Hispanics, and 18% of young adults believe that they are better off financially today than they were a year ago. (The figure for the electorate as a whole is a rock-bottom 15%.) And during a period in which party affiliation has a much greater effect on economic evaluations than it did two decades ago, only 26% of Democrats say that their economic circumstances have improved over the past year. Just 19% of Black Americans, 14% of Hispanics, 12% of young adults, and 21% of the full electorate believe that economic conditions are getting better, while an outright majority of voters (52%) say that things are getting worse. President Biden continues to get low marks for his handling of inflation. Overall, only 35% of voters approve of his handling of this issue. Among Hispanics, just 34% approve; for young adults, 28%; among lower-income voters, 29%. When it comes to the economy, Donald Trump enjoys a clear edge over Biden.

Nope, still not what I said. It wasn't a cop out when Biden unwound the policies that were beneficial to us, just because it was Trump.....but now I guess you see it differently. The Fed can handle their business, but making stupid policy decisions, such as student loan debt forgiveness, makes their job harder.....Trump wont need to buy votes by pumping money into the economy....so that should make us hopeful. Now, should he do something equally as stupid as Biden, I will turn on him rather quickly....

Irrelevant to you, entirely relevant to the people being harmed Maybe if these policies harmed you enough, it would start to matter.
  8. I wonder, do they have any notion of who those prices impact disproportionately

Since it was already exposed, I guess I will call out your lie now.....reframing someone as you have been might make you feel good, but its clear people are seeing through it. Specifically, my insistence for Trump is just dont do anything Biden has, if he enters the office and does not actively harm the markets they can heal.
  10. Liberals amuse me. They face this situation where they feel as though they have to raise the minimum wage, to help people make enough to live..... And yet they position to ensure there is mediocrity in education.....resulting in......more people working minimum wage Liberal policies are pointedly harmful to the lower classes.

I wasnt involved in 2008, the need did not arise until 2012, which is when we really had to create a metro-wide solution
  12. I like to test things, its something I have done in the past. I wanted to see who would seek to ignore the reality by accentuating the outlier.....it helps me better understand people and their motivations Agree on your point about who is harmed more, business who can survive will pass along the costs to consumers.
  13. Exactly.....I placed the nugget there to see if that is the only take away someone might try to pull....

Last year this time. We would normally pack about half as much as we have done recently, these kids wont eat if we dont send them home with a backpack of some canned goods etc.....
  15. I dont think you understand..... I could have not used that example.....I could have used something else....but I purposely added it to see if there are those who would latch on to the implications of it, and rather than look at the problem.....use the implications to refute the entirety.....it was a setup to see who would try it

We can agree to disagree. Normally I would not make the point so emphatically, but the harm these people are facing is pretty bad.... The kids needing weekend food in Baltimore has doubled, and we can see from the links I provided and the polling that its getting worse.... so I worry a little about what happens when it gets so bad they feel like they have nothing to lose... It will change the election this time around, this mess has really galvanized people

    1. Do you think the current economy in 2024 is worse for the lower classes than 2008? Yes I do.... 2. Do you think the overall economy is currently worse in 2024 than 2008? No I do not

    War in Israel

Holding Hamas accountable could really imperil his efforts to secure power, his deal with the devil(radical left) was looking shaky just from him not adhering to the party edicts to pretend the attack was justified.... This is what happens when you partner with evil

Unemployment seems to be a variable that folks are keen to latch on to, and I consent that I often point to the ludicrous employment performance under Trump as one of my reasons to support his policies.... If employment was enough Trump would still be President and Biden would not be staring down a huge problem for his election efforts. Again....your issue is not with me....its with the people out there suffering.....if you can see THEM that THIER life is not the misery they claim it to be....I bet Biden's election team will hire you on the spot...
