It does seem like the White House has reached some level of understanding that gaslighting people isn’t working. For many of these lower income people this is certainly the worst economy of their lifetime, no doubt. trying to convince them they aren’t living what they are living should give way to an apology, which could go a long way to harvesting their votes…..if they get re elected they can then of course ah1t all over those people more

It very well could be, and putting this silly policy into place will not immediately hurt, it will.....eventually....but it could take some time.

I understand that you might feel that way. You perhaps were not participating in the threads where I held conservatives accountable, since there are fewer opportunities to ding them vs liberals, it is entirely plausible. The issue might also be that Democrats no longer really try to hide their corruption, in fact they seem to celebrate it....so its right in our face....whereas Republicans do seem more inclined to hide it. Now going back to Trump, the attacks on him are wrong....plain and simple...and if they were doing this to someone else, it would still be wrong. I think sacrificing who you are, or at least pretend to be, to take down your ideological opponents is a road we should avoid.

I accept that others have their own point of view, and am happy to disagree with those folks without denigrating them; it is important that we not assume we have the only answer, or are always correct. We believe things, and should remain ready to always update our beliefs as new information emerges.

We all know what happens here. People lose their jobs, and now all those unemployed people are fighting for fewer opportunities. They then consume more from social programs. The Democrats will of course blame businesses.... Moreover, the costs will still rise because of this stupidity...and be passed along to the consumer, making their life less.....for no real return on value. Its a sick way to treat people.

I absolutely have bias. I hate politicians, and I disdain the powerful overreaching, as they have in this case. That is my bias.

I remain opposed to what was done to Clinton, a position I have sustained all along. Hunter Biden has been well-protected by a justice system that has held others accountable, they lied for him and protected emphatically. I care little about Hunter other than his usefulness in noodling out the totality of the criminal activity around his father. What I think you are not really considering is how this lawfare and over-prosecution resonates for the average person not in possession of your bias. A reasoned person looks at what has been done and wants to pull the Democrats to the side and say.....guy, you are way overplaying all this....its like some cartoon now and you all look a little unhinged....
