Biden did a pretty good job messaging on the point of economy, IMHO He managed to talk about it without being offensive, and I think that was really effective.

The DA seems as dirty and corrupt as one would expect her to be. I guess it has some bearing on the case, but only in so far as her participation.

I think Biden did a pretty good job. It was a little more tilted toward a campaign event, and a little too divisive....but I felt his performance was at least at the level of Michael Douglas.

Biden is already playing his hand, he is going to sell fear. He is going to pretend the economy is just super and trot out stats that mean nothing to the people he has actively harmed.... but the media has his back and will prop him up, defend him and protect him.....because they are pieces of crap. He has already been pretending that the inflation he caused which caused shrinkflation is somehow the fault of business..... he wants the business world to absorb his mistake for him, fock him.... SO now he will pretend the whole" pay their fair share" BS. when the wealthy pay almost all the taxes collected.... he victimized people for political currency, and now he will pretend we are all just the victims of Republicans....and the mindlessly stupid will eat that up SO it will be a lie fest.....backed by the media.

If you are of means, the economy is less bad for you, and making money is actually pretty good right now.....if you are not of means....your life is miserable right now..... worse than it has been in decades....and those people are p!ssed

No, I mean what I posted....lying about crime right now is bad.....regardless of what anyone else did before....

First deny then when caught.....minimize by saying "its just that one store" or "its isolated" <------- WE ARE HERE as it spreads declare it to be a "right wing conspiracy theory" as it surges....blame Republicans....rinse.....repeat.... Finally throw out the "what does it matter now" to pretend we should just drop it. Source

And that is exactly what I want you to do....more importantly I want Democrats and their minions in media to do this.... It is working. It is exactly what Republicans need to win at the ballot box. Honestly, yell it from the roof tops....over and over....hell, I will do it with you ( but we have to pretend I am a liberal as well) The more the people harmed are gaslit....the more they poll away from Democrats. Its all good for me.

I think you miss my point. Biden purposely did things through policy. Notably going after energy. His actions needlessly fomented inflation. This was not great, but all he needed was the Fed to deal with it. But he lied, and his Fed did nothing....they pretended..... What this did was result in a manageable situation to become far worse than it ever needed to be. He lied to pretend his failed policies were just super. He aggrandized himself at the expense of the most at risk among us.... In doing this he created a problem that is much....much harder to fix. And will harm these people for years. He can trot out as many economic stats as he wants.....the harm will not abate......because he lied..... its just that simple.

My main issue was his needless fomenting of inflation, which is always going to harm at risk communities disproportionately. As his initial policies were inflation-feeding mistakes this was bad, but I was pretty sure the Fed would handle it.....except he lied about it and pretended it wasnt true....which meant it was not dealt with.....and then it got worse.....and worse....and he continued to lie about it until it was so bad he finally had to admit it. So much was lost with his needless and pointless lying...... the man lies as easily as breathing, about silly sh!t....but this was not silly sh!t.... Once inflation manifests it can take years and year to unwind.....all at the expense of the lower clases....in this regard his actions were pointedly unkind. Then they lied about it being transitory....all the while inflation was forcing costs up for people.....many people can handle it....but there are plenty living paycheck to paycheck....and he lied and he lied....while they suffered.... Those people, and even those less impacted, remember only too well how great costs used to be.....so by all means, gaslight them. Trot out stats that tell them they are wrong. Its a far more effective way to move votes away from that lying monster than anything else anyone could do.
