Around this topic, I am gratified that so many are finally looking around and saying enough.....they have not forgotten how much better their lives were before Biden.....you would have to go back to the late 1860's to find economic mismanagement of this level. Polling shows that lying to them is not working, and that is very good news.

Totalitarianism is a more apt moniker. Modern Democrats are totalitarians by behavior and words. They see themselves as the only "right" ones and anyone else is evil and must be eliminated. Its dark stuff.

It is the infantilization of youth which has delivered this to us. Worse.....we seem to have taught them that to have a thought....is to hold truth.....even when that "truth" is provably false.....we have allowed them to hold on to childhood well into adulthood....

The deficit is nothing new, there is currently no motivation for any elected politician to actually deal with it, and THAT is our real problem

I do like publix, we do not have them here, but when we are in FLA we like visting.

My son recently got a job there, he is ramping up early to pay for college and since he plays lacrosse he wants to have some cash set aside since he knows he will be able to do little else. Hired to deliver, he gets decent money through tips. For a kid still in high school to work 15-20 hours per week and pull in $1000-$1200 every two weeks is great. He tells me how they trained him and stay on top of them all to be really pleasant with customers, and make their experience special, and when the managers see them being exceptional, they give them spot bonuses right there in the moment....its compelling for them all to strive to be excellent.

I think it will depend. I really enjoy what I am doing now, but then again I could pick a number of others things to do instead. I am thinking that I make work until something like 57-60, but even then I might setup something else to do..... I was even considering taking some classes in marine engine repair. When we try to get engine repairs on the boats its always waiting....because those guys are just overwhelmed. They set their own schedule and you wait for them, thats it.... so I could make some spare change, hang out at the docks with people I know and like, drink maybe half the day....just have fun Part if it might be making sure to have some health care for as long as possible.
