"Republicans hate black people." Today's yutes really have been brainwashed by the left
RLLD replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
I think all politicians do it, but if there is a scale to be found....I see liberal policies as being rather harmful, and the inclination to pretend "its those Republicans" really should fall flat when outcomes are so consistently bad for these folks from liberal policies. -

No, there is no hate,,,,you are mistaking conservatives for the modern liberal as demonstrated across the country and on university campuses....THAT is what hate looks like. I am sure the addict thinks an intervention is "hate". Being honest is not hate, its compassion. Pretending the patient is not sick to save their feelings is selfish and morally vacuous -

What I find remarkable is the steady gaslighting....liberals professing their deep concern and indignation.....until called upon to actually do anything other than lip service, and then politicians employing policy that is pointedly harmful to historically disenfranchised people.....so Liberals p!ss on their leg and tell them its raining..... -

You need not even do this. There is no need..... The voters are out there, they are living the reality of the economic harm, and everyday they face it.....so if Democrats want to trot out meaningless numbers in front of them.....and tell them their lives are great.....LET - IT - HAPPEN.... This is a meaningful way to ensure voters drift toward conservatives.....

Love it.....

Sure. But adults should also behave responsibly, notably when they are elected officials.....an easy example might be Harry Reid eliminated the SCOTUS filibuster.....he did it to serve an immediate desire, with no regard for the longer term consequences....notably for abortion..... and it came back to the Democrats. This is easy stuff, but they are not great about it. -

Typically liberals start this stuff, and never seem to understand the longer term consequences. Its something we have seen repetitively. As it arises my hope is to at least point this out. Maybe if people recognize how their actions can come back to them, they will be a little more mediated. -
US companies increasingly eliminate college degrees as a requirement amid 'out-of-control' school costs This could help lower costs, I see it as a plus. And if it eliminated many of the more "woke" ones then we can all see more than just financial improvements.

Oh well, in part I am disinclined to call them out, if only because I sorta understand the desire to put it back on those who dole it out.....but then you really remove your own ability to object; if it is ones interest to remain philosophically honest at least. -

Are they? I guess they might be. It might be a weakness to allow oneself to "give it back", but I am not sure there is any value in becoming that which we detest. -

There is merit to this. The left is now staring down the barrel of the weapon it created. It likely is uncomfortable. Simply supporting Palestinians cannot reasonably be declared "antisemitism", its a game and that game is simply coming home to roost. There are plenty of instances of antisemitism, and too many really. But as it is the standard set for other groups, we will see it misused. -

Bold perhaps, its automatic. If you hold a higher level on the grievance hierarchy its the "go to" maneuver -

I am still on the email list for the local counter Board of Ed and get plenty of emails from them just begging for substitutes and relating a rapid response to get more teachers, because apparently they are seriously under staffed.

Oh, that....yeah, whatever.... I can tell you, having been around the Capital and the Senate in particular for years..... that is some wild arse stuff.....like it took some balls to pull that off....those bastages are crazy for sure -
There is really no reason to go to Cali any more, and further.....no reason to stay and live there any more.....all these people fleeing third world countries would likely look at California and reminisce quite a bit.

No less important than it was to incessantly go after Trump I mean, part of me is happy when the powerful are held to account. Another part is just.... The Democrats need to take a moment and really consider how their imeptuousness leads to these outcomes.
