Uh Oh..The California dream may be cracking a bit
RLLD replied to supermike80's topic in The Geek Club
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Liberals are far more concerned with social currency and the power it affords than the quality of solutions. Saying things, and doing things, that make them feel good int he moment or elevate their perception of self among peers take precedence over sound logical solutions. Not unlike a child that rebels against their parents because "they know better".....these people employ just idiotic policy, then when it comes back to bite them are apparently butthurt..... I wonder, do they give a rats arse about anyone but themselves? -
But that is not the game. Remember, these people already know that this is nothing, and it will be overturned. The game is to put a label on Trump as being convicted, so as to sway voters in the middle. This is lawfare for political ends. So the question for us now is simple. 1) Can/Will Republicans ease up on abortion. If they can relent a little, or at least stop talking about it, then they have a decent chance. 2) Will voters be manipulated by lawfare and egregious prosecution? Can the Democrats smear and malign enough to at least manipulate the stupid? 3) Can the Democrats hide their poor performance, notably around the economy, well enough to manipulate voters/ The Bidenomics tactic failed....because lie as they did, people are still feeling the bad economy...... and not they have decided they cannot defend their performance, so they will pretend well....Maganomics would be worse....as if going back to prosperity would be "bad" There is a ton of time for things to unfold, and who knows that the future holds. Rest assured, there will be a full court press to deny Trump, they are focking terrified of him.....which I love....
-
Not sure he can be "aquitted". Can he? I recall reading the judge essentially found him liable before anything was in court at all. Or do you mean, overturned on appeal? If you mean the latter, I suggest there will be alot of that....but it will take a long time. I think all parties involved already know this. The goal here is not about law, its about doing what ever it takes to eliminate a political opponent. Who cares if its all overturned on appeal later....

Hunter Biden indicted on nine tax charges, adding to gun charges in special counsel probe
RLLD replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
The man did everything he could to protect Hunter. I guess....he just has a soft spot for the kid There could not be perhaps, something bigger....driving him....could there? -
I am fine with this, the more gaslighting the better. I think you should rent a billboard and put all this up on it. Keep pushing this, push it often and be emphatic.

The plight of California should render him a non-factor in any future election, even PTA board. -
University presidents won’t condemn antisemitism
RLLD replied to Stryker Ryker's topic in The Geek Club
Penn donor is pulling back 100mil commitment. Ouch. All three were women, so they might try the "This is because of mysogyny" tactic, certainly the one from Harvard will do the "as an African American woman" dance to deflect. Normally I would not be inclined to support this "you should resign" nonsense. But in this instance.....these Universities are to be teaching our youth, and at their institutions.....there is so much hate and non-education going on that perhaps a strong change of leadership is warranted. -
This is a common tactic. The ad hominem is used liberally(pun intended) where someone opposes something or someone....they simply trot out something from the periphery....in this instance it was something a president supported....but it could just as easily have been some group that expressed support FOR that person, and that group might be less than stellar. The implication being, if person/group A is bad.....and they support this person.....then this person must be bad. The abscence of logic required to do this is staggering. Its a lazy way to shut others down.

Impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden begins- over Hunter Biden
RLLD replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
I misunderstood. I interpreted your posting as having an issue with govenment corruption and notably around this closest to the President, like family and such. My mistake. -
My point is, go get him.....if he did something wrong.....if he fomented something negative...whatever, so be it I guess.
-
No...... but often I assume that people are dealing honestly, and sometimes they are not. I surmise the attempt was "Hey, you support Trump and he supported what you oppose". Which is middle school level logic of course. He guess what else.....Trump opposes abortion, yep.... he surrrreeee doesss. And I support abortion....soooooo....this must prove something....right? Is it any wonder we have a generation of stupid young people, when simple logic seems to evade their everythought. Oh, and I was not suggesting you so much as Gutter, who is galatically stupid with alarming regularity
-
Sure, why not, I mean I am sure there is more to know. But using liberal logic here for a moment....."You cant prove he did anything wrong". So using that logic we should not be looking into anything suspicious. Apparently, liberals expect us to operate like an episode of Perry Mason.

Apparently these people are acclimatizing. I wonder, could you and I now find common ground on this....that these extravagant claims need to stop? -
I hope this very tactic is sustained. Keep trotting this out and do not stop. I want this message blasted out on every radio, news station and social media site.

So then you agree with the premise associated with Hunter. Thank you -
Yeah, but the new way of getting people does not place a limitation on how long ago.

Are you flirting with me -
No mean tweets.
-
NO I cannot keep up with all these silly aliases Now I get it. Gutter was pretending to think Trump was some kind of supporter to suggest to me that my support of Trump made me a hypocrit. So now, apparently, what suffices for logic is to then find a single flaw in anyone so as to render them useless.... that is just magical logic

I was thinking this very thing Then I immediately though, "I wonder if I can find this on Lycos" -
I am a conservative, just not a zealot. I align more with conservative values. In my years in this world, I have seen conservatism serve people better, so yeah, I am deferential to those policies. But not without reservation. I might point out that I do not immediately accept anything, but instead restrain and think about it. Keep in mind that you did not realize how thoroughly Joe Biden was lying until recently. Meanwhile, I have never denied when conservatives are in the wrong. The media is absolutely the mouth piece of Democrats, save for Fox who is the mouth piece of Republicans. And then you have all the next level ones that are mostly annoying. Your stance to pretend that this is not the case illustrates the important distinction I have already noted. So again, you cannot paint me the way you think. You will find that never works. I think differently than you will. Loyal to the good things that work, and less so to the bad ones.
