I do wish it had not come to this. These people did not deserve what the Democrats have done to them, and done to them for decades and decades. I wish they had reconsidered supporting the party if slavery and opression, but here we are. I hope they realize that Republicans are not the ones harming them now, not even close. I hope Trump meets with them, he needs to ensure he understands and feels their pain and desperation, and should he regain office get right back to the fantastic work he did to pointedly help this community.

You might be correct. I see this as a positive because to me the act of cutting kids due to mental illness, let alone simple childhood exploration, is really not too distant from shock therapy or lombotomy as a solution for mental health.

It is certainly suspicious, and worthy of investigating. But lets not pretend we know what transpired here. Its easy to assume based on the setup and how it mirrors a criminal enterprise. The sums are compelling as well. BUT.....can they show a correlation between money and some action? That is not going to be easy. These racketeering setups are designed to prevent that, so we really need somoene to flip.....

We were what I guess you might call "food insecure". I think the only thing I would bother to want might be polish sausage. Much of what we ate we either raised or hunted.

Its almost comical if it were not sad. You have this violent mob, being essentially imprisoned for being a violent mob......who then commits atrocities....and then pretends to be victim.....not unlike an abuser saying "why do you make me do this to you!!!" Meanwhile, if they simply stopped being violent....no more attacks....no more rockets or suicide missions.....they could enjoy being more free.....but until then, treat them like the animals they are and cage them....

I try to avoid defending "Trump" though I am sure I must be drifting into that place. I really want to simply look at the actions, without nuance or historical perspective or any such nonsense. I doubt I do that very well.

Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche I liked this one, four caps out of five. Pulled up mostly out of curiosity, and had no specific memory or interest. I felt the pace was good, they did not linger too long on anything, so the flow made it easy to watch and until 90% through I did not sense it being too slow. A great mix if actual time-period video and pictures, with current day. Alot of interviews with people from the time, which was well done. And in the end an almost unexpected twist.

I sometimes try to flip the script and wonder, would I ever do stuff like this? Could I ever be caught up so much in an ideology that I defend the indefensible? I think not, but maybe I could be just as suceptible.

I would tend to agree, it does appear that some outlets took their words and extrapolated them out a bit. We know very well what their words mean, but in true media fashion...... they went into propoganda mode. Which I do tend to object to
