Far-right outsider Javier Milei wins Argentina’s presidency
RLLD replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
I might suggest we take a wait and see approach...... These Central/South American leaders rarely prove to be much good. -
If you now decide to abandon this approach to permit violence, I think we will all understand.....

You offering a geek-meet? j/k

I used to be there. But, over time I have come to better appreciate the role of unions. Are they corrupt? You bet your sweet arse they are..... but they have also given us a range of pretty good situations today, ALL of us benefit from union-related actions of the past. SO....what do we do then? Well, we can agree that public school is struggling, and in part due to union-related factors..... so those of us who can step away from it should. But then we are leaving many people behind to fend for themselves. Generally speaking, teachers work hard and care. The schools are rather well funded. But the kids are not putting in the effort. And rather than challenge them, we lower standards. So we are dooming these kids by acquiecing to their own laziness. Parents are the real problem here.

No. Nor will he be. Once again the Democrats, through their weaponization of the legal system, are overshooting.... Could they secure some outcome in one of these instances? Probably. Would that outcome be overturned? Absolutely. None of this is about "law" it is about preventing the election of someone they hate. Someone who is completely unlikable to be sure.....but also rather effective in creating positive results. Democrats would rather have a fake "good guy" in office who ruins the lives of regular folks so long as he adheres to their religious edicts......than an effective man who is a choad but gets positive results.

OK, then by your logic you have just refuted your own assertion since HT is not leading anyone...... And that is the problem you have, liberal ideology will make these sweeping assertions based on correlation. Trump says something that some other idiot said...well then Trump is a racist and Republicans are anti-immigration..... This simply must stop..... just because someone objects to something YOU believe does not make them evil.....
-
Since I am from the east coast that will not be a problem
-
When it serves a unions political matriculations....sure.... or when Hamas flying their animalistic SS troops into Israel.....
-
So then, by your example I can therefore use the words of Talib to paint the Democrats as anti-semites..... of course not, that would be immature and illogical..... So lets not do this....
-
Not exactly. What they object to is the mass importation of people with no place for them to go or jobs for them to fill. We simply must control immigration. What arises is that ANY attempt to control it is paraded as "anti immigrant" or "racist" so as to impugn any opposition to unfettered immigration. There is nothing wrong with a controlled border.

We can agree to disagree on this "MAGA" assertion. It is not different at all, though I do understand the lies propogated by Democrats and their propogandists in the media like to use this. I would encourage you to pause before believing any of them, and not digest any of it as simple truth. MAGA is little more than empowering the middle and lower classes back to their status of prominence. But this is anathema to Democrats.

This logic.....this is where I bristle with the liberal approach to "thinking". The immediate move to assert motive in this manner is entirely counter-productive. If this were turned around on some position YOU held, you would be justifiably indignant. It's just not the way we should operate as a society. Republicans are not anti-immigrant, but they do acknowledge the dangers and consequences of allowing uncontrolled immigration as has been done. I know there is is notion of empathy to those emigrating, but this is at the expense of our citizens own well-being. Elevating the empathy toward immigrants over our own folks is not how this should be done. This is not "anti-immigrant" this is how a reasoned and compassionate people should approach the needs of their own citizens as a priority.

A rather good example of the important distinction between knowledge and wisdom.

NY Post: Liz Cheney Smears House GOP For ‘Elevating Anti-Semitic White Supremacists’
RLLD replied to Blue Horseshoe's topic in The Geek Club
As much as I try I find it challenging to understand Cheney. I am not clear as to what it really is she is standing for or against. Much of what she espouses is difficult to assemble into any kind of pholosophical standard. She seems to flitter from idea to idea with no real congruent philosophy. She is odd in many ways. I think her heart is in it....but her mind seems to be all over the place. -
Can you show us on the doll where the consumers touched you?
-
Of course, and that is the game. When you spend enough time on the ground around these folks you learn that this is part of their math. They want it. Israel will avoid it, but it will arise. And then we will see the pretending that it is Israel who is wrong. Lather, rinse, repeat. These Islamists are not stupid, and they know very well that there is no shortage of people who think they are knowledgable, but really dont know, and will succumb to their propoganda.....and follow right along like lemmings. I think it is likely true that eventually they do destroy Israel, and when that happens you can rest assured they will murder every....single....Jew..... Conversely, if it were true that thes Islamists put their weapons down, peace would be almost immediate. The distinction is that on one side you have moral western values(Israel), and on the other you have animals.....
-
Killing them is the only option left, its all they understand. So once you kill Hamas, others will rise up to continue killing. So to remain a nation, Israel will have to continue killing them, its the only option the Islamists leave for them.
-
So.....these people, these rioters..... They, had Democrats hiding in their offices....they were violent....they injured capital police officers....lawmakers had to escape in some cases..... Hey, isnt there like a description of this, it sounds familiar....
-
Unlikely. Those in the region have refused to allow peace since the restoration of Israel. Nothing less than the destruction of Israel will appease Islamic groups. Now, if it became true that these Islamic groups stopped attacking, then we could enjoy a resumption of the peace process, and the eventual rise of a two-state solution.

Newsome, if he holds true to his approach in Cali, would be worse than Biden. And yet still better than Harris
-
I think you will be perfectly safe walking around over there.
-
When we consider this, and then couple it with common liberal beliefs....and notably those espoused here in this forum.....we can see how easy it is to indoctrinate people.....
-
I do not think Israel knew.....at least I have heard and seen nothing to support that....yet.... I DO believe that that USA knew......and purposely said nothing. I have heard and seen plenty to suggest that is true.

Las Vegas teen dies after being attacked by 15 people while defending friend
RLLD replied to jonmx's topic in The Geek Club
At some point the allowance for violence from a racial position will have a blow back, and that is a point I think is being overlooked to the eventual harm to society.... -
