I get your point. The military is not all "bad", but it is by no means perfect. I think it can be a great place to grow up a little more. I wish all kids had to spend a couple years in the military, it might wring out of them all this social justice nonsense. I am absolutely adviding my son to not do the Marines.....I did that....I do not want that for him. Encouraging him to investigate OCS approach whereby maybe he can leave college and commission into say....Air Force, Coast Guard or maybe Navy. Now, that being said I have had occasion to hold some conversations with higher ranking Naval officers recently, thanks to Hamas, and these officers assure me they expect an active conflict with China in the next 10 years and it likely will emphasize naval elements. They seemed serious. Now....I would ABSOLUTELY discourage entering like the police force.....foooooockkkk no..... they way the world is pandering to criminals at the expense of the police? fock that.....

Ok, if there were violations of the law then lets ensure they are accountable for those. If you were to tell me they abused the gaps in the law, I am not going to be surprised. For me its that they are a child-centric business supporting mentally ill folks with sexual-related illness....its just a little too close for comfort there.

But did they violate a law? I mean, if they were within the boundaries of law but their actions were unseemly...well, that could be any large business in America.

Not sure I agree entirely. Had they still had their QB in place then maybe they get in. Without that QB they are maybe a .500 team. It would be unwise to allow them in right now, only to be absolutely mauled....no one wants to see that, and advertisers would not care for it....so they have to do it this way. The good news is that next year FSU would be in I think, but still be throttled....

I know its fun to make fun of them, I get it. But consider what has been done to them. This is behavior normally found in the very young who have not yet developed and lack emotional control. Consider what has been done to them to bring them to where they are. And further consider how often we are now observing this behavior. These are adults who have been fed lies to instill fear, irrational fear, and it dominates them. They have been taught to see others as evil and respond with this irrational fear. This is abuse, plain and simple......these are damaged people who have been maligned by an educational system that feeds a governmental/business cabal.

Perhaps they want to avoid another TCU escapade. Its the right move.

The expansion of NATO is not some signal of leadership, and it did not result from leadership either. It was a direct result of a dearth of leadership resulting in hostile actions the terrified those nations into it. Your interpretation of these being some measure of “good” suggests you might not understand international relations. You presume that it transpired and that’s that….no negative consequences right? Are you SURE you want to take that position? There is so much more at play here that you seem to appreciate. But for me it’s something of a “win” in that it creates opportunity for my company to cash in, so I am trying to do so. The world is not respecting us right now, and that is a key reason my company is enjoying so much success. The lack of leadership from the USA has translated into some opportunities to make money right now. Though Chinese and Russians are facing is down at the moment. It likely won’t last long, if we get a return of someone like Trump then the opportunists are more limited. You can still make some money, just arbitrage just isn’t there

Not that unusual, we are just hearing more about it. My contacts in the region aren’t suggesting anything other than the normal annoyance. Most of these nations in that region are run by despicable people. They are always up to something.

If I might suggest, rather than approaching a conversation with the intent to wear someone down, so as to force submission to your ideology…. You instead approach with you position, hear the other person out, ask questions first to understand and the. Seek to be understood none of us are “right” and none of us are “wrong”, at least not entirely. This absolutism and insistence upon being the only correct way denied your opportunities to grow

This lie, about “what will happen” is intended to instill fear ( not unlike Germany in the 1920’s) against the “others” This is by design to both energize their followers and secure their loyalty, but also to inspire them to violence as we have seen. You have a generation of youth now indoctrinated to hate conservatives as being evil. We see it with some frequency on this very site. It’s of course useful and effective, but at what cost? Have we not observed enough genocide in the recent past to understand how this is not sustainable?
