Runner says she didn't hit other girl on the head on purpose.
RLLD replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
Everett, who is Black, said she has endured a racial backlash since the clip went viral and that people are judging her "off of one angle" from the video. You see, if you want to escape culpability, you drop the "racism" card to deflect -

Why admit anything when you can just blame racism. -
Hunter Biden was his fathers useful idiot. Hate on Hunter all you want. He was used by his father to be the bagman for the family business of selling us out to our adversaries. If anything, we should sorta feel sorry for Hunter

Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump!
RLLD replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
I think this recent Schumer debacle is really emblematic of the failure of Democrat strategy. They spent so much time trying to sell Trump as Hitler...autocratic or fascistic or what ever other lie they trotted out.....they painted themselves into a corner. How can you work with Trump, after calling him all those things? How can you support the CR....which you claim is so bad......????? Because its all just lies, designed to manipulate. Then when its clear that the politically correct maneuver is approve the CR......you are screwed...... Its pretty focking funny.... -

I can get with this approach. I think it makes more sense generally speaking. There are two sides to this coin, there is "politics" and then there is "reality". I think a good politician understands how to balance the two. I remain more or less opposed to using the stock market as a measure of economic success. This is a position I held back in Trumps first term when the market was doing well, even then I was opposed to using it as an indicator. I think the wrestling of inflation into control is job "A", but then we have to wring out the inflation that was forced upon us, which will take longer. And I think we should expect significant job growth, and of the many things that influence inflation in a meaningful way, job creation is certainly in the top 5. So as the job market heats up, the Fed will need to be ready.....

It does look that way, and even CNN isn't trying to deny it. Strategically, if they are going to lie, they should do so in a way that allows them more maneuverability later. By boxing themselves in as that are with the lie that things are going poorly, it actually hurts them far more.

I think Democrats are playing the economy in the wrong way. I see them as setting themselves up a little. I know their goal is always "Trump bad!!" and no matter what find some way to denigrate anything, regardless of its positive value. BUT.....all this doom-saying about the economy could really backfire on them. Trump clearly knows how to make the economy work for the average person, he did it once, and he likely is able to do it again. Instead of the lies around "everything is going so bad"......instead.....they should limit their attacks in that arena, for now, and wait so they can instead pretend the improvements are somehow Bidens to own. Strategically, lying that this is Biden's economy is better than lying that things are going so bad. JMHO

Positive reinforcement works. People see a way to exploit a system for their benefit, they likely will do so. -

But you understand my apprehension here. Its not purely the move itself, but how it can be weaponized to manipulate people. -

RLLD replied to Ron_Artest's topic in The Geek Club
I am not enthused with ignoring the courts. I think they need to accept the role of the judiciary not simply for its natural role in checks and balances, but also for the propaganda. Ignoring the courts gives credibility to the lefts "authoritarian" game they want to play. I think it unwise to flirt with this approach. Think of this also, later should the Democrats...or what ever party replaces them, hold power and the only means available to Republicans to protect us from that party is the courts....we surely would want them to respect it, right? We cannot BECOME what liberals have.....we have to resist that urge. -

Of course, the presence of these criminals...any harm they would pose...is someone else's problem. -
Because taking the opposing position of Trump, regardless of the actual position, has been indoctrinated into many. He managed to use this phenomena to some effect so far, pinning Democrats into the 30-side of almost every issue. And cornering them in the halls like nothing we have seen before.

Are you willing to see the government shut down unless Democrats accept conservative proposals regarding the border and spending?
RLLD replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
If this CR were actually anything at all to worry about we would have been hearing about it late last year, and all January and February.....the reason we heard about it recently.....was that the Dems wanted something to show they could stand up to Republicans, well toTrump.....but even then they knew they had been out maneuvered. So the party that has shouted to the sky for years of the evil that is shutting down the government, suddenly flirted with it.....because they thought it could be a political win, but then realized that they would likely shrink their already low popularity. So they stopped pretending the CR they helped create was a problem....and moved on. But do not forget the ease with which they were preparing to do THE THING.....they have always said.....was an absolute evil.......just to gain some political cred.....these are the people you champion here on this forearm -

RLLD replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
No. there are some cuts and some improvement....notably improvements to WIC.....but your ideological masters were hard selling you the notion that this thing was destructive, which of course it is not.... and take note they dropped that narrative when it became clear it was going to pass, and then told us the real problem as they saw it, they just needed to fight Trump. You must see it b now, even among political parties....for the history of this nation, the modern Democrat party is absolute corruption.... -

Their disagreement is that they see this as a political win for Trump, nothing more. They mouth off, pretend that the CR which THEY FOCKING CREATED and agreed to, is suddenly dangerous.....please.... at least some of the Democrats care enough to not prioritize politics over people -
