I submit it is even worse than that. They are Maoists. Their design is that the only acceptable thought is liberal thought. If you do not conform to them, then you are evil. This approach creates something of a line in the sand. You cannot think critically, because to do so is to question the authority of liberalism....and you risk being labelled and cancelled (or excommunicated). In using this approach they are also limiting their actions. They cannot switch gears, pivot....or change action...because to do so is to violate the paradigm of the religion of liberalism. This is why they are so keen to redefine terms.....their religion cannot change so the terminology has to. They box themselves into failed policies that they cannot diverge from.

Nah, I don't much care about that. I get why they want him quiet.....its hurts his ability to run for office. Is it wrong? Sure....but whatever. What bothers me more is the pattern part, and going after the political right using the mechanism of the DOJ. That is out of hand. Right now you probably see it as a net "good", but later....if the Republicans can clean out the DOJ of the partisans....it could become true that the script flips, and they start doing this to Democrat candidates......and if that happens, you will be rightly angry, and I will be right there with you....because it is wrong regardless of who is doing, to whom it is being done....or why....
