My stance is that people get a divorce for reasons other than "fault". Our culture has incentivized divorce. Life is hard, relationships can be challenging, they are not always sunny-happy.... But people still need an avenue where differences are irreconciliable. My initial post around this was to help clarify the "why" which was the question asked. And my response was simply that there is a correlation between success and a two-parent home. I surmise that is the "why". And I further stand by my assertion that I would rather the government stay out of it.....they suck, plain and simple, and anything they touch they will ruin

As I have noted elsewhere the concern has actually improved over the last 10 years. I do not suggest we force people to stay together by any means. We should not trust the government with anything really. But the correlation between success and elements such as a two-parent home are established. It's but one element in a multi-variant system, but one of the most important. So if we can incentivize staying together I think that could help, but is by no means the only method.

Most people cannot admit they are wrong, and I suggest that we all have this behavior from time to time. Pretending they are not wrong is a profoundly political muscle. Expecting ANY of them to admit they are wrong is a fools errand.

But there must be more than just proof they received monies...... the bank records show it, and I think Biden might be a little to arrogant about this....he might think those LLC's are water tight and there will be no way to link him, and he might be right.....but Hunter has really screwed the pooch on this, and has exposed so much more than we would have known had HE not been such a degenerate human. Now, assuming (for the moment) they manage to find the mistake in this Biden family criminal enterprise that does more than just show the money, but also links Biden political actions to that money......and I think that would be pretty tough to accomplish given the immense protections afforded to Biden by the DOJ.....but lets pretend..... It wont matter. The Democrats will NEEEEEVEERRR hold him to account. I don't care if he confesses...... The liberal mind has a mechanism that places political adversaries as evil, and through that mechnism they are able to justify criminal actions of Biden if he is a suitable hedge to deny Republicans the presidency.

I think we agree on alot. I think the notion of compelling people to stay together is deeply flawed, but at the same time I lament the transactional nature of marriage today. It might be true, and I am not certain that it is.....that incentives could be the way. We incentivize staying together, to encourage people to work out their differences where possible. But abuse is not limited to physical harm. It can take the form of verbal, emotional and psychological damage. And people who want to escape that should be able to do so for sure.

I suggest there are better hills to make your stand, this one just does not seem to be the one to leverage. It was a nice try, but in the end the effort was unraveled.....there will be other opportunities to fabricate racism which are far less flimsy than this one. JMHO

My advice on this might be to avoid abusing the term racism or racist. Particularly when you stand astride Democrat policies that have been resoundingly harmful to minorities. This manuever to portray Trump as a racist just does not stand up to reality.

Concur. That being said, if I were a defendant of sorts and I were worried about how I might be treated I would want things to be more public. I think that if Hunter wants it to be out in the open, then it should be. If he wants it to be behind closed doors, then it should be. I think that is entirely fair, it is certainly the way i would want to have it for myself.

Conversely I hope that good people eventually stand up to it and manage to end the hateful reign of marxism being hidden behind the veil of "woke". I did have some hope when parents started standing up at school board meetings, but the DOJ went after them and intimidated parents into silence..... Now I have hope that with the exposure of "woke" antisemitism we might again see some opposition to its poisonous intent, but there are just so many people indoctrinated into this evil ideology.....

On this point we can likely agree to disagree. The man I knew was no hero, not simply unlikable.....he was a snake....an absolute narcissist who was deeply invested in himself. I can ssure you, you would not like him if you met him where cameras are not present. I always found him intensely unlikable. I am convinced he was associated with the gain of function work at Wuhan, and equally convinced they messed up and allowed their poison to escape. And in true Faucci form, he worked diligently to insulate himself from it. That being said, Dr Collins was even worse....
