How can there be a “two-tiered system of justice” when Senator Menedez is indicted with taking bribes?
RLLD replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
I am sure you do, and that is exactly when the power base in the Democrat Party is hoping people will think -
Biden caught red handed receiving bribes from China

How odd that you simply repeated what I already posted, thanks I guess -

Biden caught red handed receiving bribes from China
RLLD replied to Stryker Ryker's topic in The Geek Club
Technically he didn't. Hunter was the front man here. He was the useful idiot who "gave dad 50%". Joe used his son to create a barrier, so the money could be funnelled into family members via the LLC's. Hopefully, along the way enough mistakes were made that they can get him on one of the transactions. There are plenty of transactions so hopefully we catch this guy, I am absolutely certain he sold us out multiple times now. -

We appear to be moving a little... First deny <------- WE ARE HERE then when caught.....minimize by saying "its just that one store" or "its isolated" as it spreads declare it to be a "right wing conspiracy theory" as it surges....blame Republicans....rinse.....repeat.... Finally throw out the "what does it matter now" to pretend we should just drop it. Source -

Hmmmmm.....I do not see this in the same way. Hunter had this location as his place of residence on his drivers license and such. He did live there and what not. It is not "good" per se, but this is not the nail in the coffin. Be patient. Hunter did what addicts do, made plenty of mistakes. But keep in mind that this setup works really well, the mob perfected this and it was only through RICO and flipping members of the family that we were able to eventually get the mobsters.....the Biden criminal enterprise is a mirror image of how the mob did it, we should expect some difficulty linking what it is plain to see. -
That was my take, but I will let him weigh in if he chooses.

I think you are not catching the actual move here. He did that in part to mimick and mock that same behavior. You see when ever some folks see disparity they simply assume racism. And rarely is any outcome the result of a univariate influence.

New York judge finds Donald Trump liable for fraud
RLLD replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
Agree, it only rose to this level of interest from the DOJ after he became President.....conveniently.... -
And let's be clear, just because there is a disparity we should not assume its racism or discrimination as a first move. It probably is not. It rarely ever is.

New York judge finds Donald Trump liable for fraud
RLLD replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
You do not. You can parrot the Democrat spin, you can even support the fraudulent and abusive use of impeachment all you like. Those only arose due to his effectiveness in helping the people on whom the Democrat Party is devoted to harming, keeping down, so they can sell themselves as the solution. When you threaten modern liberals with usurping their power, you can expect a rather nasty response. My hope is that Trump, and preferrably someone else with similar policy prescriptions, is able to get into the White House and start fixing all the damage done. -
That was not the correct deflection. You have to follow the liberal design. Source So first you have to start with the "thats not happening" then you move into "thats not why they are closing" etc....deny, deny, deny You can only move to the next step of minimalization after I post this rink

New York judge finds Donald Trump liable for fraud
RLLD replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
To put this another way.....if the Republicans were presently doing this to Biden (weaponizing the courts etc) I would object just as strenuously, because it would still be wrong. We cannot allow this level of chicanery to become normal..... -

I will concede that as a person he is unlikeable, but as a leader he was solid. I get that people want to make his personal qualities more important that the outcomes, but I am just not on that boat. -
New York judge finds Donald Trump liable for fraud
RLLD replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
We likely never know, but I am confident that once he is no longer a threat to Democrat power, they turn their weapons on the next candidate. And all of this just goes away...... -

Trump can make all of this go away. All he has to do is declare he is not running. Then all of these attacks will end, bank on that.... -

I might add that none of this has anything really to do with "law". This judge, and others, already know that anything they can get him on would be reversed on appeal (some might have to go to SCOTUS). But it is not about that. This is all about impeding him from participating as a canidate in the election if possible, but also to mar him to the fullest possible extent to sway the election. This is all about beaurocracy and the intent of government agencies and their players to interfere in an election. -
I am not sure that is true, but perhaps we just see those influences differently, which would explain the disconnect. I prefer to focus in on those differences. On a few occasions Gutter has illuminated something I did not know. I find it more fun to learn than to call others stupid or denigrate the things they beleive of course, so talking to him can be something of an effort; but one that can pay off.
-
Oh I see what you mean, no he pointedly fomented it, and then also did not react to his mistake to reverse. I am trying to find common ground, that is what we agree on first, and then see where we diverge. So with oil understanding how you see it and then considering how I see it helps frame the conversation. Seek first to understand, then to be understood.
-
Well, to be fair it will have to hurt alot of folks that liberals pretend to care about first, before it ever reaches them. And then just like with the immigration debacle, only then......when THEY are finally hurt....will it be time to reconsider.....
-
Yes I did, it was his policies that have led us here, and it could have been avoided. So, there is that. Going back to oil production, price is then driven by supply and demand, but also futures (speculation etc), right?
-
Just curious, do you see a source for the morgage concern? Also, do you think the energy sector is driven mostly by current production or a mix of elements, that also include futures? Also, do you have an idea as to how long it takes for supply to manifest once exporation and tapping have concluded?
-
1) Attacking energy, but only domestic energy, which has a large footprint. 2) Infusing money into the system when inflation was still fomenting, like throwing gas on a fire.... 3) Ignoring inflation, pretending it was not real or it was transitory; this not facing it down when it was more easily controlled and also encouraging businesses to ignore it 4) Refusing to amend his policies when it was clear they were fomenting economic problems Sources: Rink Rink Rink Rink Rink Rink Now to be clear, and to oversimplify, the Fed is in the business of fighting job growth; more jobs foments inflation as well, though the impact varies..... so we should at least avoid ding things that might contribute. Biden should have restrained when he saw how his actions were feeding inflation but refused. He refused to ensure he sustained political support, he did this at the expense of the poor and disadvantaged. He made some mistakes, plain and simple, what is mostly unforgivable is his steadfast refusal to admit them and adjust his approach.

The Fed is fighting a battle against bad policy. And normally I am no fan of the Fed....but in this instance, their ability to fight off the galactically stupid Biden policy mistakes is impressive. Its not over yet, but give them credit....they were handed a sh!t sandwhich and have done a decent job. If you think spending is the only driver then you really need to read more.
