Almost. The media will serve Democrats by dramatizing anything Trump, while the DOJ moved enthusiastically to help. While actively ignoring anything Biden. But I think there is something that negates any of this.... I think the dimished quality of life and obvious issues with crime and the border are negating all of the political gamesmanship to undermine the candidates.

You cannot project the way liberals think on to others, that is not really going to work. When SCOTUS judges rule in a way that feeds your bias you might think "wow, they actually did the right thing"....but in reality they usually do the right thing, and sometimes the right thing does not fit into your world view.

I concede this point. Trump is not a politician, and frankly as a businessman in that role he just missteps every where. And of course the media hate him as an older white male, so they pounce. Conversely, you look at Biden and his impressive criminal enterprise alone and you can appreciate his political chops. A true politician knows that lying is life, and those with longer tenures are the most gifted of liars. If Trump would just learn to lie he could get out of his own way. I think the voters were weary of it last time around. That is why we have the overcharging, the hope being if they can create enough drama around Trump they avoid him being elected again. I think the Dems are desperate. Trump likely now understands all they have been up to, and how to flush them out, and him entering the White House risks exposing all of them and their Menendez=ish antics.......they will do anything, no matter how criminal, to avoid him exposing them. And I think he will do it, out of vengeance. It is likely true that he restores the policies that helped so many average americans, and does make headway to repair the damage to the economy, but in parallel, I am concerned about his inclination toward vengeance....even though he deserves to get some....

This. It is the strategy, so far. Though it is clear that the insurance policy if indicting Trump into submission is not having the effect they hoped. Not sure how they manifest that frustration, but it likely involves another overraction and abuse of power. Could it not also be true that they run with him, and later allow him to just bow out.....like during the run up to the election and such?

Exactly. That is pretty new I was pleased when Republicans did so. To see Democrats finally doing this themselves should be welcomed of course, but the only reason for it is that they see him as expedable. Were his elimination considered a threat to their graps on power, we likely never know about any of this.

Not exactly. The normal protections, those afforded to the Democrat "elite" are less likley to be provided to Menendez. This is in part because of his role as something of an agitant. The same would hold true for Manchin, you take the Biden situation and replace that name with Manchin and I submit he would be allowed to be consumed....

I have created nothing. Your item A does not stand up to the evidence available. I think the Dems are less inclined to protect Menendez, and as a result we get an actual demonstration of accountability, which is nice....but only a start. Plenty of folks on both sides of the isle that need this.
