AG Garland Appoints Special Counsel For Hunter Biden Case
RLLD replied to paulinstl's topic in The Geek Club
I do have a question if you would entertain it. Do you agree that Joe Biden was confident and emphatic that his son did not receive any money from China? -

Beyond comprehension...if true......SMH
-
I also share a fair amount of suspicion with regard to the Kennedy thing, it does not add up to me....... I also suspect there were more people involved in the Lincoln one too, and all we got was a small handfull..... even then, Democrats knew how to protect their own....
-
That seems fair. Trump very well could be a criminal, but now that he is a politician....that label is somehwat redundant. The effort to portray him as a criminal has certainly been enthusiastic. Right now between he and Biden we definitely have a problem with regard to "criminality". Though there is nothing yet to suggest that Trump sold influence to benefit his family. I would welcome the elimination of both from contention. Let's get someone else in there....
-
I surmise you likely could. I recall a world before liberals introduced hate and intolerance. That it comes back to them is not surprising, sad, but not at all surprising. Now, if some of the folks this coward went after give it back to him....well then, BOTH are doing it....sure enough. Would those others have done it had this clown NOT been such an insufferable twat? Likely not. I would welcome a cessation of the pretense that conservatives are evil and worthy of harm, and also please inform everyone at the next liberal church session that pretending Trump is somehow evil is not passing the sniff test.

Jack White slams Mel Gibson & Mark Wahlberg over Trump hand shakes This mentality, approach...position...is rather common among modern liberals. This is the modern left right here. Time and again we have seen this same mentality from all areas of liberalism.... There is not an equitable behavior, nor breadth of it, coming from the other side....
-
On this point we can agree to disagree as well. Pretending that there is a difference that remotely matters is not the path here. The execution here was improper, but that is the new DOJ....
-
I accept that I could be wrong, and allow that it is certainly plausible. That is how one not devoted religiously to their sect would naturally approach the world.
-
I am disinclined to accept your position as you have demonstrated you are not an honest particpant and will not merely lie but continue your lying when caught.
-
And if the names were reversed, I would still feel the same. It matters NOT how people try to frame one as being better or worse than the other, that is the kind of game that should draw our scruitiny and ire.
-
Perhaos. It is likely true that this behavior can be found among many folks. but it distinguishes the modern liberal movement. Your party is being subsumed by marxists who have perverted it in vile ways. Conversely, you would likely see the conservatives as being revised in similar ways. And perhaps an argument can be made for that. But I find the liberal version to be far less palatable.

Perhaps on this one we have to agree to disagree. I understand your point of view and why you hold it, but I do not share that point of view. Whether I am wrong or you are can only be known in time.
-
Not exactly. You see when liberals espouse their points of view, they are challenged and opposed using the standard method. Conservatives are not cancelling, suppressing or calling liberals the great evil and such. No sir, that is a behavior demonstrated more so from liberal circles. The distinction found here is that conservatives challenge the ideas, not the people. But when your beliefs are religous in nature.....it different. People who challenge religion are seen as evil....we see it across the spectrum, and THIS is how liberals behave. It is also how regimes like North Korea behave, those who fail to conform must be crushed... There are too few common sense liberals left in powerful positions. Liberals justify vile acts for themselves, that they are keen to hold others to account for....

Demonstrably true. The setup was to get Trump on the documents, then they found some over at Biden's place and this put the Dems, DOJ and MSM in a tough spot, so they pivoted and fabricated a new narrative as to how the Trump situation was "different". That might work on zealots who do not posess critical thought, but I do not fall into that category. I call bullsh!t where ever it arises, and have called it out across the board, irrespective of politics. That alone would have been bad enough, but when it was clear that was not going to work....and then the evidence showing Biden's corruption mounted....they got more nervous, and now they are lashing out like a tired toddler and really exposing themselves through the excessive indictments.... It is a pathetic display, our system looks clownish to the rest of the world.....

Liberlism is a religion. And as a religion it encompasses much of the pre-reformation elements of religion. Intolerance: to others, to dissent, to ideas that challenge its power. Fight Against Evil: Strict adherence to church doctrine to stand up against sin(conservatives) as a source of evil Narcissim: They assume the only good ideas are those within the sect, anything else is simply wrong, even if provable.
-
I know that is what you have been sold. He is being indicted because he represents a clear and present threat to Democrat power. They have no other means available to deal with him other than to abuse the justice system. The desperation is evident.
-
Agree. I am interested to see how they handle this, it should be rather entertaining the second time around.....
-
I completely support Biden's position to not have some debate with others challenging him for the nomination. It would be inane to do so. I would never suggest a sitting President hold a nomination debate. I think this time around it makes more sense for him to avoid a Presidential debate. It might be true that he still has just enough mental capacity to be adequately coached, but if we see him avoid the debate that is sorta telling. Plus he can redirect. HE can portray it in a way that suggests HIS avoidance is viruous, and in the same breath portray Trumps avoidance as cowardice, and we already know his supporters will eat that up.
-
I need to read up on this a bit more. I would like to see how liberals are reframing this as being someone elses fault.....
-
Keep in mind.....that through the lense of liberals, this is more than just allowable, it is an imperative. When you foment the mentality that your opponents are evil, every illicit act is made available to you. This approach can be observed elsewhere, refer to how Trumps posession of documents was contrasted against Biden.......in every instance, liberals can take action and defend it.....and in the same breath assail that very same action being conducted by others. This is classic narcissim.
-
Please do. I concur that Biden will avoid the debate. But consider that Trump just gave him that "out" by avoiding the GOP debate. It makes perfect sense for Biden to avoid the debate and he can easily portray that act in such a way as to energize his supporters as well.

What is 'skiplagging' and why do the airlines hate when you do it?

Hillary will not be upstaged.....Clinton associates might want to consider hiding for a while....
