Yep. There is plenty of evidence regarding political rhetoric and how it can foment violence. This has been an element of consternation for me going back to the Obama administration. Political leaders should stop dividing us.

People across the spectrum agree with me. Sometimes you and I will agree. That is not some statement on me. This pretense that because you hold a position that some element of the population holds it designates you needs to stop. Its a tactic. You find someone, or some group, that also shares that position and then correlate the individual to that group.....this is done to denigrate them rather than face up to discussion....its lazy..... There was a time when schools taught to NOT do this, taught kids how to debate and talk to each other....apparently that is gone.

While there is data to support your suggestion that the problem is more prevalent in liberal-dominated localities, I think that is only part of a multi-variable analysis. Sure, liberal policies are inclined to failure, they are too reliant on the farcical notion that people are "good" and will choose based on the benefit to the many over the individual. Since this almost never happens, their policies fail rather consistently. THAT being said, I think this issue would be just as evident in more conservative locales....because you cannot arrest and prosecute a solution to this.....that approach is also proven to be ineffective.

Oh yeah? I missed that. Kudos to the police then, love it when they save us the cost of a trial.

Not a deflection, simply stepping away from your politically-driven bias to talk about the issue of mental health and violent people as an issue unto itself. Instead of exploiting these people, I will tend to tilt toward an actual discussion about the issue. I leave it to you for exploitation of people and their misery.

It would seem, based on the available data, that we either provide them the means to feed thier habit as is beind pursued, or we treat them. Now the impetus behind the movement to provide them access to needles etc has the intent to try to save their lives, in theory. In practice this is not working. So we have to go back to accountability but instead of purely punitive, it would need to be with treatment. Right now treatment is rather costly. But then again, so too is the cost to send out emergency staff to grab them up and then treat them at hospitals. These elements coupled with incarceration costs and ongoing medical-related factors and then the cost to local business etc....should all be measured. The "cost" to treat should later be shown against reductions in other areas to help explain how the money spent is adding value. So in this instance setting aside funding, from Federal, State and local governments......should result in the establishment of treatment centers. Start by repurposing available and abandoned commerical spaces. Then establish a punitive and reward-based setup. Time to try something new.

But starkly different from the stuff Audrey Elizabeth Hale wrote I infer?

This is liberal "kindness". Allow them to self destruct......

That would be it then.....people so easily put their stuff down in Twitter. Hopefully it helps put this coward away for the rest of his natural life.

Diet seems to be the best approach, and for overall well being as well. And then coupled with activity one can at least achieve better health. But controlling diet....that seems to be the key.

Are the Sacklers behind this one as well? How stupid are people? Honestly?

We have to make it hurt. Playing with these marxists (who hide behind the veil of "woke") should cost them. And it has to cost them as much as possible to get them to stop. -
If you manufacture those pills, you might be entirely in support of the fat = good ideology......people never seem to figure out when they are being played....

No, I mean like a written manifesto, sometimes these mentally ill people take the time to jot down what the demons are whispering....did this retahd have one of THOSE?

To be fair, they tend to be a little more appreciative.....in general, not all of them, but many....

I disagree. I think it was wrong when all of them did it, I will not find some way to allow Trump while holding Hillary and Abrams accountable. Wrong is wrong, and we have to stop allowing it for those with whom we might agree. -
Dems announce Biden will NOT debate any presidential contender here on out.

I do tend to agree that is often a little more honest than others, and to his own denigration. He speaks truth rather often and also often his truth is perhaps a little abrasive. Some truths hit too close for people as well. Often truth tends to fall in line with tropes, and this then also can be a problem. I think much of his misrepresentations are funny and harmless and if you think about it, many of Bidens lies are mostly harmless as well. Though Biden has some lies that are destructive. -

He tends to set himself up. He cannot get away with the stuff that like a Biden does...... but he just does it anyway..... To a certain extent, its refreshing....but man....all the drama.....just gets so old. -
Inflation was going down under Biden, now it’s going back up

What bothers me about all of this is that the WH is either actively aware of the harm they have caused, and is lying liberally to hold on to power.....to then harm MORE people.....OR..... they are so inept that they cannot actually read economic messages. -

Another smart move. I also indicated that when Biden refused to debate any primary challengers that it was smart as well. You see, painting me with your bias will fail, every, single, time..... -
Reporter Returns To Her Arkansas Home To Find Why Inequality Is Complicated

Reporter Returns To Her Arkansas Home To Find Why Inequality Is Complicated A decent article that appears to be trying to look at inequality with actual thought. I see much of this article as being true, and if we look at areas where communities struggle....it adds up. -

Prior to the civil rights act in the 1060's the AA dual-parents rate was rather high, so what happened? The government wanted to give hand outs to portray itself as viruous, and in the process fomented single-parent homes in that community. Over time it got worse and worse, so that now the art of parenting has been nearly lost.
