Because there is no better example of how I want a politician to be treated than Trump. GIVE ME THAT. Over and over.

Jason Aldean’s "Try That In A Small Town" Censored And Accused Of ‘Pro-Lynching' Themes

The outrage, and it most certainly is fake, is mostly meant to elicit energy from their base. They drum up spectral evils to divide us, and foment rage in their radical elements, then allow those radicals to subsume the less radicals into the fold. This, the to a lesser extent the Bud Light stuff, it is simply the powerful moving chess pieces. Manipulating the stupid. -
Of course I called out Trump. He is the measure by which I want the rest held to account. I presume we can at least agree that the accountability applied to him was appropriate? I am unable to forget about Trump, because with him we were affored what i consider the be the correct level of scruitiny, and I want that more. I am discussing this on its merits. Eventually you and I will agree, and that will be happenstance because your political zealotry will eventually cross paths with actual morality and common sense.

https://apnews.com/article/biden-impeachment-mccarthy-hannity-78e4c7efeb030b29e1576f868257179b I am a little worried that this is premature. I do not see that we yet have enough detail to take it to this level. I am just really concerned that Republicans will replicate the misbehaviors of Democrats here. Impeachment should not be used for political vengeance(Democrats) nor for retribution(Republicans). I am worried its becoming an acceptable poltical tool.

Seems like just yesterday liberals were defunding the police because they are so awful, then pretending it was actually conservatives when their stupidity resulted in bad outcomes. Then they defended law enforcement again when conservatives went after the FBI they were suddenly fas again.... Hard to keep up with "wrong and right" when its so maleable.
-
Incorrect. You can choose what ever you need to defend your actions. To defend your allowance for Biden. I will not allow myself this luxury, this maleable morality. I leave it to you.
-
Perhaps you are correct. But that is a little challenging to digest. Given teh dearth of information leading to the Trump investigations, which he professes to have supported, and now suddenly the more plentiful information associated with Biden is not enough. The behavior is suggestive that his distaste for Trump allows less information and his preference for Biden requires more. There is absolutely a double standard. And I do not care who the players are, I want ALL politicians held to account. What I see is that what I liked in terms of Trump accountability I am not getting with regard to Biden. That is a problem.

I understand now. I think we have to keep in mind that a chorus is not required for cancellation. Further, there is video (already posted) showing numerous propogandists across media calling it out. It does not take much to compel cancellation. Fear and intimidation result in quick capitulation. Just imagine, if you will, what it might be like if every time someone supported something you like.....people were able to silence it......I doubt you would find it palatable. -
Give me the same zeal in pursuit of Biden, that is all I ask. If it can be done to Trump then it can be done to Biden. I want ALL PEOPLE in power the same treatment. If people are to hold power, they need to be watched and held accountable. <insert name> should be held to account, regardless of political affiliation. The difference between you and I is that while I support what was done to Trump, you would defend Biden from it. Sadly this allows the corruption.

As many as you like can be in an array. We can start with the New York Times and CNN. Purportedly these are journalists, but we know better. Move on into your Google, and look around. Part of me is actually gratified that someone seems to care about the content in music, given the abundance of inappropriate material provided through music over the decades. -
Are you suggesting that the approach used by Democrats against Trump is no longer suitable. On this point we will have to agree to disagree. Investigate by all means, people in power should be watched, investigated and held accountable. That you might not feel this way is perhaps not the best approach. We have MORE information, and even evidence, than the Democrats had when they went after Trump. It seems fitting to give Joe the same level of scruitiny, given the abundance of evidence.
-
His protectors at the FBI in particular must cringe anytime he talks. The leadership who protected him might never be held to account, but history will mark them for the corrupt puppets they certainly are.
-
No. in summary there is enough evidence to continue the investigation and potentially assign a special prosecutor (but I hope they do NOT assign one). There is more evidence than was available for say, the first fake impeachment for Trump. But again, unless the criminal has the wrong political stance you will not care about criminality, we have established this. More will come out, nothing short of a confession from Biden will ever suffice for you. Not sure why people are inclined to protect the powerful, when they are clearly corrupt. That one will continue to be baffling.
-
If Democrats believe their position is so correct, then they should proudly and happily embrace this. But I think they are only too aware of the sickness of this and are terrified about the truth being available to Americans.

I am a fan of country music, not all of it, but a decent portion of it. This song is OK, would be rather low on my playlist etc. But we cannot ignore how virulently some of the players on the left have reacted to it. To me....the song clearly is saying....hey you want to burn and loot and sh!t? come try that in my town......and you will get your arse handed to you....I really think it is alluding to that.... I think the way it is being defended is disingenuous, JMHO -
I never suggested they have yet completed the investigation, and "proven" it went to Joe, in fact 5 went to Hunter and it is clear the other 5 went to Joe. If you want to ignore this, and what it clearly means, that is fine for you. I am not going to convince you of anything here. I accept that because of your allegience to political ideology (and by extension Joe Biden) you will ignore what is right in front of you. More proof will come, and you will ignore that as well. It is clear, to me, based on the available informaton that the DOJ worked diligently to protect the Biden family from their criminal activity. You can ignore that as well. Later.....should it arise that the DOJ clearly protects, oh lets say Donald Trump, perhaps then we can enjoy a shared experience around caring about criminal activity.

Oh absolutely. I find that one amusing as well. Anyone who allows political chicanery to rule their daily life is just a toy of the powerful. -
I am confused as to why he let that dog go on the guy, seems out of band for the situation.

I am just entertained by it all. I find it more amusing than anything else. The array of leftists who sought to shut this song down is just completely amusing.
