I will call our stupidity where it arises, if I will do it to Bush…..and then Obama…..and yes, also Trump….I will not suddenly stop for Biden You are simply viewing my criticism through the lease of your own bias. Later, when I call out Trump you will thank me for seeing reason….because t I will not have actually changed anything…. It will just so happen that my position temporarily fed your bias

That’s fine, i know that is the tactic and I get it. When he acted improperly to negatively impact the energy sector there were plenty of voices calling it out. It was simple, what he was doing would lead to higher prices. It was not the difficult to predict, market actions are easy to predict when you make really dumb mistakes. And then he tried to pretend it all away, using statistics not unlike you have he touted for months that there was no inflation, and whe the lie no longer worked he tried to call it transitory…..and when that lie no longer worked he admonished people for calling it out When it appeared his dumbfockery was heading toward a recession then he again misused the data as you have to reimagine what we call a recession So please parsonme if I care a little more about the reality of costs than manipulation of data to pretend it all away. Pissing on someone’s leg and calling it rain just does not work

It’s a real concern that the people we elected to run things seem to have too little authority over these agencies
-
I am not your research student, everything I have noted is both present on this forearm and available through google in terms of the mistakes made. When he went after energy we all immediately called him out on it. Anyone with even a modest understanding of the economy understood the gravity of that mistake. I made no contradiction. When bad policy foments inflation the fed must correct it
-
Correct. He would have sustained energy production as well as the economic policies that were pointedly beneficial for lower income folks. He would not have pumped the money into our system to buy votes. Thus the inflationary influence of his policies to get more and more people employed would have been the more prominent influence. This would have been more easily controlled by the fed. Problems would still exist, but they would not have the influence of bad policies to exacerbate them on this we perhaps disagree
-
What an odd assertion, you should have learned a far more deep understanding in econ101 alone. Fixing the damage here in a not like flipping a light switch; unlike creating it. This damage is going to take time to unwind, and it will be rather uncomfortable as well. As usual the Democrats went for adolescent posturing with no regard for who they hurt. And they have pointedly hurt lower class Americans, notably African Americans, disproportionately. They do not seem to care at all what they have done here. Even with proper policies in place it would take as long as a decade to repair the damage Biden has fomented

I am appalled at the misrepresentation and outright lies they dare to put forward. The FBI is clearly a problem. I do not know how to fix it, but it needs to be fixed

Supreme Court considers Biden’s student loan debt relief plan
RLLD replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
I have to wonder if there were voices of wisdom back in the day warning about the obvious issues….and being called names like “white supremacist” or something for daring to not fall in line then as well -
Correct. This will be relatively sticky as well. Fewer people selling therefore lowers supply, and then prices rise as well. This then really staggers the market, and next we will see rents rise. This is the natural market action. Why is this happening? Government policy has resulted in inflation, and thus the fed has to raise rates to combat inflation. NONE of this has to happen, it is idiotic policy….self-Inflicted injury Biden is the source of all of this

Where I observe forceful opposition from liberals toward something I correlate that what they oppose must be rather accurate. From my observations the ferocity of liberal opposition is congruent with the level of veracity of that which they oppose. Truth, objective reality, is an anathema to liberalism.

Agree. Unless you are pursuing some high level financial role, or perhaps ceo/coo level roles no one really gives a flying dock where you went to school. I have been a hiring role for 30 years, and around others doing it, none of us have ever cared where anyone went to school. The notion that it matters is a false narrative driven by those who can make money off the premise -

Agree. I like the way Trump has been treated, start to finish. EVERY politician should face the same scruitiny. To me, that is how at least the media should be behaving. When we lost media to bias, I feel like we lost any sense of protection.
-
I disagree, and perhaps we simply have to agree to disagree.
-
I do not care about Trump......he is being held accountable, and I am satisfied with the level of accountability. Regardless of his response......you DO NOT get a free ride because you were "more cooperative", nope that is not how justice works. I am less happy about the "qualified immunity" that arises for others. We cannot continue to allow clear corruption, be it from the President or the DOJ....and everything we see is implicit suggestion of corruption being allowed.
-
You can defend Biden to your hearts content. I will not defend either Biden OR Trump. What is being done to Trump is fine by me, not giving me that on others......is a problem for me. I care nothing about this us/them thing you all love to swim in.....get them all.....ALL OF THEM....equally.... that is all I ask and I think that is a simple thing to do.
-
They did.....and the pretense that there is a distinction is a problem, its a big problem. Its the same thing, treating them differently is a problem. I want the Trump experience for ALL of them, regardless of party.....regardless of role....regardless of how they reacted to being caught. This is how actual justice works. Stop protecting the powerful, they do not need it.
-
I do not care. They both did the same thing, I want both to be treated the same. And if they discover that Desantis did this, the same....and if they discover that Jesus did this...the same.... Creating an allowance for Democrats is not how this should be done
-

I think exactly what did happen..... and now hold Biden accountable as well. Both did it. And I do not want to hear that Trump was a d!ck about it, I want them BOTH held accountable. Give me this Trump approach on any and all of them. These are powerful people, and we need to assume they are not always up to "good" things. So, I welcome what they are doing to Trump, get him by all means.....but stop allowing Biden to be corrupt please....
-
I think it is a common reaction within our culture to lean toward the underdog. And right now liberal ideology holds a more prominent position in terms of amplification, and perhaps even scope. So when we see conservatives pushing back, holding on to the things that are good andmake this country great we sorta see it as a stance against wrong. I think.....
-
Right now it favors liberals, and they seem to care little about fairness so much as getting their way, up and down the group.... But when this changes, and I think it might, and these agencies are turned back on them.....and things are done to them as they have done....they will be entirely right to object, and WE ALL should object in unison. We cannot allow ourselves the luxury of maleable morals as liberals do. There has to be a line for us.
-
The good thing about them giving Harris "busy work" is that she is a) incompetent and ineffective and b) being exposed so it should end her political career and with it the risk she presents.
-
Considering the breadth and impact of this I find it discomforting that they are trying to stop making it something of import.
-
They cannot. It would be like asking a Muslim to ignore a slight against Allah..... their religion (liberalism) mandates an active posture toward infidels. This movie is a threat to The Party with its content. They do not yet have the suffocating censorship of China which they long for, until then they will close ranks and attack.
