    Uninformed people like Trump

Thank you for confirming what I just said, I accept the outcome of the legal proceeding, as I stated, while I remain convinced the man is guilty....well done
  2. I did admit I was wrong, recall that you made this your most coveted desire, and I was kind enough to acquiesce to it. Frankly, you seem pretty ungrateful.
  3. The numbers should always be considered just the first foray into it. As I have done consistently for years, I am always suspicious of the initial number. When the numbers were bad for Biden I asserted they were probably wrong, when the numbers were good for Biden I asserted they were probably wrong. Next month, if the numbers are good for Trump I will again.....assert.....they are probably wrong. I understand that this kind of consistency of thought is anathema to someone such as yourself. But I see value in it. Now, I really appreciate the sudden concern from liberals about the well being of the average american, I remain concerned as well, so if it should arise that we see some return of the horrible economic situations we observed under Biden....I am with you. This also may seem odd to someone such as yourself. You see it does not matter who is in charge, we should hold the same expectations, regardless.....I know...I know...you might see that as crazy....but give it a try, I think you will enjoy it
  4. Nope, actually did from the start....so thats a lie

    Here come the tariffs

I am unsurprised, though a little dismayed, at how quickly your pretense of caring about jobs has apparently withered away here.
  6. Even if he were acquitted, I would accept the outcome, but still believe he was corrupt and sold us out. And I can still do that in this country, because your people have not yet taken it over.
  7. It will depend on who you are talking to of course. The Fed is dedicated to lowering employment, that is their "thing" so to speak. Of the many things the fed fears in terms of inflation, employment is the biggest one. So, while it will always be true that employment improves and declines, pretending recency is proof is just another silly thing Democrats will do when it serves them. By way of example, lets say next month they report job gains.....it will be crickets from the likes of you. Come find me what that happens, I will remain consistent in how I perceive and talk about those numbers....you will not....
  8. It is a better economy than we had last year to be fair, but what is actually important is how the average american feels. On this point I think we have found common ground, it was this common ground we did not share this time last year so I think this is a good thing. Now, if Trump lies as his predecessor did, or otherwise ignores the experience of the average american, i am ready to call him out on it.....

    Here come the tariffs

We can discuss tariffs if you choose, but I prefer to stay on point with this attempt to pretend you care about jobs. Using the loss of jobs in a sector as proof of an "issue" is curious coming from a group of people who cared nothing for costing those coal miners their jobs....or....could it be more true you are just plucking up something to pretend tariffs are the problem? Using something....anything....to pretend things are really bad? I mean, I get it, I think job losses are bad, I hope they dont happen....but for you to suddenly care? I think you dont care, you just are using the misfortune of people.....and I think that is pathetic.
  10. I am glad you still want to pretend the truth is not out there. I see that democrats trotted out that chart which demonstrated why the assertion is true, they took it down after they realized they were self owning. I really have no issue with you and people like you continuing the lie and pretending the economy was not the worst for many in their lifetime. This gaslighting proved rather useful in the last election, and could be useful for the next one too. So by all means, lie your arse off brother
  11. Oh, you were once again not being a forthright participant in the conversation, I should have picked up on that, my mistake. The performance is focking awesome, and the future is far more positive than I have ever seen it. So I am good for now, and hopefully they stay the course and do not fall victim to the immediacy of the world....leave those mistakes to liberals I say
  12. It might be true that your opinion on the matter, given your malleable moral stances, and inclination to lie....is something i dont really observe as all that credible. HTH
  13. If the average American is indeed feeling unhappy about the economy I hope that THIS president acknowledges and reacts to it.....does not pretend its not true or lie about it for months.....that I am hope and expectation, and we shall see what happens.

    Here come the tariffs

I dont mean to go all Tim Hauk on you here, but I am disinclined to automatically accept the premise based on your source here. I am open to hearing more of course, and then perhaps we can even talk about all those people who lost their jobs in the coal mines that democrats didnt give a sh!t about....but maybe not....eh?

    Here come the tariffs

Your issue is not with me, its with the economists no longer selling you the kool aid you desire.
  16. It is focking awesome, and that is all that matters.
  17. Incorrect. Revising the numbers down is a negative, not surprised you do not understand this.
  18. No one actually wins in this approach. There are multiple issues that arise. Fewer jobs are available, consumers face higher prices, the company margins evaporate causing closures of locations( further hindering employment and local community access), people in this jobs have no motivation to improve and enhance their skills, it encourages a cycle where people never elevate past their station in the socio economic model. When this inane concept was applied in Europe it resulted in less economic progress for the lower socio economic members of the economy. Its fake compassion, with evil outcomes....
  19. This is the question. Not surprised you asked it, you are among the few on this forum who actually have intellectual curiosity. My opinion, since this org is basically a product of the IFA, the national restaurant association and to some extend the chamber of commerce, I think you touch on the point. Yes, the opposition was in large part driven by franchise-centric entities. I dont see that entirely as a negative, but I concede that the interests here are a little removed from the front lines. I think many restaurants will thin their margins, raise their prices and lower their labor costs. They might embrace technology, but that can be dicey. Eventually this will harm more people than it helps. Bottom line.

    Here come the tariffs

Simple formula, find a problem somewhere, pretend it correlates and exaggerate it. I presume any job losses in fast food in California will also be lumped into this? Maybe not though, if it can be attributed to a Democrat its usually just ignored.
  21. Democrats are a mess, I would have expected them to unfock themselves by now. What I think it really highlights was the effectiveness of Pelosi. She somehow kept this cabal of crazies from suiciding itself for years. Say what you will about her, she led this morass better than anyone else likely could have.
  22. Leftists will locate some "economist" or "credentialed" person to pretend such nonsense is true.....for now....
  23. Gaines has been effective in protecting women from mentally ill men. This means she simply must be targeted. Leftists cannot win on the merits of their position so instead they go after those who are most effective in highlighting their evils....

    Here come the tariffs

All the sudden, Democrats want to portray themselves as caring about job loss....
  25. I have no idea what their intent was. If someone took something they stated as an insult, then that their problem. If someone is insulted by words, too bad. No one should care.
