    Trump vs the Judges

Pretending there is a difference is the problem. Biden through his malfeasance, has opened the door for Trump to do it "by other means". This is when the behaviors of " I will doit anyway, law be damned, and I dont care" come back to you and yours. This is why you should not accept it when people like Biden step outside.

    Trump vs the Judges

Pretending you care about law is perhaps one of the more amusing antics liberals trot out.

    Trump vs the Judges

Correct, he sought the outcome by other means. He ignored the spirit of the law to serve his own desires. So should it arise that Trump does the same thing, well, too bad for you and yours....
  4. Modern liberalism has been infested from within by Marxism, and the cancer has spread profoundly. They understand how to mislabel things to misrepresent them, and buy peoples allegiances.

    Trump vs the Judges

Of course he is, and not unlike the other court cases against him which would be turned over on appeal.......the Democrats and their cronies in the DOJ already know this. But this is about delay now, they want to delay and delay......otherwise, the American people might benefit.

    Trump vs the Judges

Well, since you have decided to lie about what transpired.... • The Public Service Loan Forgiveness(PSLF) through which Biden delivered about $78.46 billion forgiven for nearly 1.1 million borrowers. • Borrower Defense to Repayment: Relief was provided to students defrauded by institutions, leading to over $52.7 billion in loan discharges. • Total and Permanent Disability Discharge: Borrowers with total and permanent disabilities received loan forgiveness, contributing to the overall debt relief efforts. • Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan: Introduced to reduce monthly payments and offer forgiveness after a set period, the SAVE plan aimed to make repayment more manageable. • In August 2022, Biden proposed canceling up to $10,000 in federal student loan debt for most borrowers and up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients, targeting individuals earning less than $125,000 annually. However, the U.S. Supreme Court blocked this plan in 2023. BUT In January 2025, the administration announced over $600 million in debt cancellation for 8,650 borrowers, focusing on those in income-driven repayment plans and individuals defrauded by certain institutions. Overall, the Biden administration approved approximately $188.8 billion in student loan forgiveness for 5.3 million borrowers.......even though a court told him he could not.....

Hold the phone, are you now going to try to lie about this topic??? Oh, please do....
  8. Also, keep in mind that Liberalism is now a cult. There can only be one answer or way for anything. Their way, or else. So if you do not submit to THEM you are evil.

    Trump vs the Judges

You mean he is forgiving student loans after being told he could not? Oh wait, wrong President....now we care..... huh.... As a tactic, I get it, they cannot win power so they resort to the legal system weaponization to at least slow him down. Its a familiar tool for them, and they have allies in the legal arena who will do their bidding, and it might buy them some time to set their feet a little.
  10. Right, eggs..... I love that one. All those years of inflation across the board, with Biden doing nothing, pretending it wasnt true......and now that Trump is in, all the sudden....expect it fixed overnight.
  11. The same way giving Iran $16billion does....... I mean we can do this all day. I have another option, for now....lets not jump at the fresh meat being dangled by Democrats and their media mouthpieces.....and instead let the strategy unfold. Just a thought, not insisting or anything.
  12. I might disagree. I have observed Murkowski and Collins, and others, voting more centrist/left on occasion. I would hesitate to suddenly declare them terrified given their strong stands in the past.

    Elon musk shuts down govt

I am not as certain as you about this. I guess we let it play out, and if the Democrats do it this time, well, then its not actually a problem of course....

    Elon musk shuts down govt

I am correct in my assertion, Democrats are weaponizing the budget, not unlike Trump is weaponizing tariffs. Now dont get me wrong, i am not in here whining about shutting down the government......that is for others.....just wondering if all that angst that was once prevalent when it was Republicans doing it......is still in place now that Democrats are doing it.

    Elon musk shuts down govt

Well, Democrats are announcing they will shut down the government if Trump does not stop what he has been doing.....y'know, the stuff Americans voted him in to office to do..... I know Republicans have done this shutdown thing in the past to attempt to force more fiscally responsible funding, but the Democrats are weaponizing it to inhibit the mandate Trump has been afforded to change things.

    Here come the tariffs

We will have to agree to disagree on the value of tariffs.

    Elon musk shuts down govt

I only ask since it is the Democrats seeking to shut down the government, and well, is it still a bad thing?
  18. Did they say which ones? Asking for a friend......

    Here come the tariffs

All the years of lying about inflation and high prices, and now we suddenly see Democrats bemoaning prices. I wonder, do they understand how this looks?
  20. What these Democrats did to this nation should not be forgiven.

    Here come the tariffs

I get this and this was more or less my position when Biden was ramping up inflation. Now, for all the grief I give Biden about his mistakes I have to admit that while he sought to eradicate most of Trumps policies, he did keep the tariffs and never changed them, and I think that was a rather smart move. In order to fix our issues, this is the way, there is no magic way to fix things without some effort. We are here, cannot undo the past, the pain that built up over the last four years will now have to be wrung out......it sucks, but this is all part of the medicine.
  22. You are somewhat correct and somewhat incorrect. I think you are being perhaps a little unfair to Theil. Yarvin is something of an advocate for a post-democratic system and his assertions that Democracy is corrupt is on point of course, but then again most governments are. He has promoted a sort of “neocameralist” form of government, and while I do not agree with most of his conclusions, he does raise formidable observations. While Thiel has voiced criticism of democracy, he is really more focused on the technical aspects and seems to object to the incredible inefficiencies, but does not appreciate that the Democratic system tends to be less harsh as his alternatives. He has not explicitly called for the abolition of democracy or the installation of a monarchy. He seems to point toward how businesses serve the primary interest of efficiency and value, and how CEO's tend to be rather good at returning value. I do not share all of their opinions and conclusions, but I allow they have some good arguments.
  23. He may have. I mean, all the things that aligned to allow him to get off a clean shot....could have been pure coincidence.....I surmise the changes Trump is making will allow the truth to come out eventually.

I infer you still hold this position.....today?
