We have to remember that liberals lie at a rate much higher than other groups, anywhere. Consider the last four years, and the lying that transpired. Democrats probably were right to fear that the Republicans would return their own legal abuses back on to them. I get that. But I think there is potentially more to it where Faucci comes into play. He is a repugnant creature.

I can only hope that enough of this transpires to move the Democrats away from the radical left and restore the party to sanity. We need a sane left to offset the right, I think our politics is more healthy when the two parties are more near the center.

I think you might be partially correct. I think Trump knows very well from his last time in office that a swath of the government actively worked against him instead of for him and by extension the American people. So he is looking to route out that corrupt segment of government. I think in Musk he has perhaps found a guy who lives for efficiency, and he is using Muck to do what the man just loves to do. In the process he is rather effectively making headway in removing partisans.

I can get on board with your position. In fact, I have held the same position for a while now..... You see, I am aware of a guy who had some whistleblowers speak to his misdeeds and there is also bank records suggesting some things are not right and there is even information suggesting familial involvement as well.
