Yes, I think your point has merit. And I think they are justifiably pissed that Biden needlessly fomented inflation then lied about it. But we are less than a month into the current presidency, should Trump have as much time or less than Biden did to fix the issue? How long....in your opinion...should it take to "fix" inflation that has been thrust into the economy?

I guess I can see your point of view. But, your POV would make more sense if Trump had not run on this very thing, and setup DOGE months ago to engage it. This is that rare circumstance where a politician promises something and does it. Consider, if you will, how the average voted might look at this. The money amounts involved and the designation of that money. And then they hear Democrats decrying this being done. Its probably not the look a party who wants to return to power wants to have. Cleaning up a mess will not always be done cleanly nor easily. We have to accept some good and some bad to fix this. I think you should mediate your expectation that there is a flawless solution for every problem.

I see, I think I will await some corroboration from other sources and wait to accept this as true, for the time being. I am not saying it is not true, but I suggest we wait given the propensity of media to lie. And this source is suspect. But hey, it might be true. If it is, it would absolutely be a wildly untrue assertion. Only China can come near matching us, and while they have numbers our tech still gives us an advantage.

I think it was a cascade of issues. The apparently lack of denying anything, coupled with an activitist beaurocracy. I mean, it is abundantly clear that the Democrats view the beaurocracy as their useful idiots, judging by their reaction to these people being removed.

Agree. But this was not always the case. It really started with Obama, though I hesitate to suggest HE started it. No, I think it was simmering in our universities for years. We allowed people with sick minds to teach kids for years, and those kids propagated their sickness into others. And now we have some rather poorly developed "adults" securing power.

I have been in and out of many federal agencies for decades now. I assure you, they can easily reduce their staff by 20% and lose nothing in terms of ability to support and deliver.

There will be no shortage of bad investments. But they will be near or next to useful ones. We have to be patient. The Democrats and media will lie profusely, Schumer already has been caught in a lie around this. We have to let the process unfold, and let the Democrats and their mouthpieces in media throw lies everywhere as well. I think the Democrats are missing a real opportunity here. Schumers attempt to suddenly pretend he cares with that web site is a tilt toward where they should be heading.

This is fair. We spent 4 years reminding liberals of the mistake made in electing Biden. I would expect liberals to now try to find every possible toe hold to pretend Trump is somehow worse, which he of course is not. The most important thing we can do now is remember that the Democrats have turned the act of lying into an every moment activity, and the media steadily puppets their lies without restraint. So be cautious what you believe, ,so far the lies have been called out as they arise, but Democrats lie rather easily so we need to be on high alert.

The delays were not so bad overall IMHO. I think the Democrats are working pretty hard to prevent good things being provided to the American people, but right now they can only really delay positive outcomes. I surmise this will be the tactic moving forward. I think this could backfire on them. The more people see them as impeding progress for the people, the more people move away from them. I think they still need to use this strategy, but maybe tweak it just a bit.
