I tend to agree with this. But the die has also been cast. The flirtation with adding them to Nato was ill-advised. Imagine if Russia tried to pull Mexico into their union? We would be rather peeved about it. Putin, and Russian, is a different animal, and they took more serious action. A good leader would have understood this It was mind-numbingly stupid for him to threaten Russia with the nato thing. SO.....Biden put Ukraine in a tough spot, and now trump has to find a way out. Often, we are left with the best of lesser options. Moving forward, I hope we have leaders who are less stupid.

It was hard enough that the war went on for years without resolution, and less than a month into his Presidency Trump may have found a way to end it. Here is how you come across, " So what if he solved it, I still dont like him...." Instead, we should celebrate the end of people dying and a cessation of conflict. Even if the wrong man delivered it.

I do not disagree with your premise. He did in fact promise that he would solve it on day 1, and he did not deliver on that promise. If this is all true, and I am skeptical to a large extent, then he will have still solved this. That it did not happen on day 1, should not be your "thing", it comes across as immature. I think our concern should be was this potential solution actually looks like.

It is a rare ability among those who lean left. And later, I will post something and it will be true, and you will perhaps counter it, call it untrue or poorly founded, and perhaps even reference Politico. I wont post something that I think could be untrue, so if post it, it probably is true. As with the economy element, even today there are those who post here who still refuse to accept the truth; and to be fair, they are so indoctrinated that the truth will likely never be something they accept.

Agree. Now, back to the topic at hand. Media/Democrats lied to you. This admission by Politico is the first instance of them admitting.....this lie. But this is just the latest, in a long string of lies they have later admitted to. So now, later, when Democrats and their media puppets pronounce something, I hope you have some skepticism....

This was not always the case. While legacy media has always been deferential to Democrats, they usually still held them accountable. But now, if you watch legacy media you think only Democrats can be good and all conservatives are bad. Its reprehensible. We should not accept this. The media is our hedge against power. If media instead becomes partisan, then power is not held to account...... Again, what will it take? How many times do their lies have to be exposed before you say enough?

Fox is not relevant here. What is relevant is that a liberal media outlet, Politico, has finally admitted the truth. They have admitted what conservatives, and yes Fox, tried to tell you for years......they have admitted that you and yours were lied to, saying you were "tricked". Now, if it were this alone, you would be reasonable to let it slide.....but they have lied about so many things for so long. When will it be enough for folks such as yourself to say.....enough.....

He may not, which makes him no different than any other politician....well, he at least told us the truth about immigration and the economy, so there is that. Now, you seem intent that Trump has done something wrong, and he very well may have. I am also intent that Biden did something wrong, and I submit that Biden ha actively harmed people. I think Trump is less bad.

I do not blame Trump, and nor should I. I blame the Biden administration, as I have for years....pointing out their deeds were creating a problem.....watching them lie and lie and lie....and the media back up those lies.... Now I at least have someone in Trump who acknowledges what is true, and is committed to dealing with it.....you may dislike him and want to pretend "oh he didnt fix it day one"....that is fine.....have fun with that....maybe go find Biden and ask him and CNN to tell more lies you can believe without restraint...

If is far easier to create inflation than to fix it. What liberals do not understand, its not about the rate.....its about what the rate has done. You can lower the rate all you want, that does not eliminate the pain when people are buying.....fixing THAT takes considerable effort. But it starts with the one thing we have not had for four years, honestly admitting the problem exists.

I could probably find something similar on Fox if I looked, but you and I would likely agree that Fox is heavily biased toward Republicans. So, here we have an outlet which lied profusely to help Democrats by trumpeting Democrat lies about the economy.......finally telling the truth. This should bother you.

Its an article from Politico. The gist is that media and Democrats lied incessantly to everyone about the economy.....these are the people folks come here and defend every day....and they do not deserve you all.... "Voters Were Right About the Economy. The Data Was Wrong."

We of course need to be patient. After Biden entered office and started breaking everything in sight, it still took a few months for the inflation to arise in earnest. Those who seem to want to use it as some sort of humor platform are as despicable as those who ignored it.....pretended it was true.....or as bad..... Instead, we need to support the man who is NOT ignoring it or pretending it is not true, but is instead attempting to fix that which Democrats have focked up. And as I have always maintained, it is bloody hard to unwind inflation.
