I think there is more to it. ANd as with most things of late, the press is now admitting as much.....

Not on board with this. For years when I noted the problem, this was the response I would get from our liberal friends....to mock my concern. So lets resist doing what they did, do not become the thing you oppose.

Some of us have, others have tried to ignore it, minimize it or otherwise pretend it away. Most of us who were lamenting its presence were mocked. But its all good. At least now we have a President who apparently can see it......which means we have the potential to deal with it.....and that is a marked improvement in and of itself.

We need to ensure this is announced loudly and clearly.....we have to keep trotting out these examples, to highlight the malfeasance of Democrats to abuse power.

Don't get me wrong. I am delighted. I mean, for four years they were oblivious, to the point of outright denial.....so this is rather refreshing to see them actually give two focks about inflation and how it can harm.

I disagree. It has been the extravagant catering to the radical left that has hurt Democrats the most. It would be unwise to drift further, or stay as radical as you have become. The fringes of each party should be little more than noise, and not allowed into legitimate conversations. Its time to get back to sanity.

I am down with this. I think we need to see more happen. I think there are foreign investments that make sense and ones that do not. I absolutely wants the ones that do not to be ended.

No I agree completely...... You see, when Biden did this to energy as he entered the White House I immediately called this fact out. In Econ 101 back in the day, this was something covered in the first month. Now, at that time Biden was doing it to appease the climate nazi's, not to help anyone mind you, but to placate the radical elements of his party. Trump is using tariffs to benefit the American people, not to placate some radical element. And he has to fix the mess created by Biden you do not fix a mess without some pain and effort. So I accept that to unfock what Democrats have done will require this.

If it should arise that Democrats return to a more centrist and sanity-driven set of policies I absolutely think it makes them more competitive. If they do not, they will NOT win. Its really that simple. You cannot strap your wagon to the 20% side of every issue and expect to win. All you and yours have to do is win back some of the independents, thats it, but insisting on the way you all have been behaving is not the path to that.

As has been true for a long time......Democrats are actually doing the things they accuse others of doing. The Democrats have been engaged in something called soft fascism. If you review their tactics against the definition of soft fascism it aligns rather well.

I hope you are correct in this assertion. We will have to wait and see. But I look at the inclination of Democrats to not learn, and to remain on the same course as very helpful in electing Trump. I have maintained this all along.

Just to be clear......your are now asserting that the THREAT of tarriffs us enough to cause inflation? Right? And by extension....you are also asserting that the President should know better than to threaten markets......as it can cause inflation?

I dont think it was sabotage, there was a disease and they had to kill the birds off to fight that disease, I get the act. Sometimes things have to happen like this. I think pretending it is "Trumps fault" is telling in a few ways, 1) It means that Democrats CAN see prices.....but chose to ignore them for years under Biden. 2) It means Democrats are children, then already know that eggs prices have nothing to do with Trump 3) It means Democrats ARE indeed fiscally illiterate, and do not have an actual working understanding of economics.

They hate him as a person. They allow this to color their position in terms of what he can do for us all. Insisting that because they do not like him he must be evil. As if only they can hold a moral position..... So they search for every possible source to feed this need to hate......I love it that this might backfire on them in this instance....not that they will learn from it.

Spot on. Right now Democrats continue to behave like a toddler who was denied the ice cream cone they wanted. And while some of them are leaning back toward sanity, many remain fixed in their mentality, unable or unwilling to accept they have been wrong.
