If I understand the question.....the ask is why the deep state aligned with liberals, But that is not quite what has transpired here. Liberals have engaged in soft fascism. This tactic requires the placement of liberal operatives throughout government, which is what they have been doing for years. Ask yourself about why the media at large seemed to be echoing the same narrative, as if working from the same set of directives. And then those who defied the narrative were punished. I did not object to Biden flouting the judges ruling, so it would be hypocritical for me to now do so toward Trump. I also did not make a big deal when Obama did his " I have a pen" thing.

Pretending there is a difference is the problem. Biden through his malfeasance, has opened the door for Trump to do it "by other means". I might disagree. I have observed Murkowski and Collins, and others, voting more centrist/left on occasion. I would hesitate to suddenly declare them terrified given their strong stands in the past.

I am correct in my assertion, Democrats are weaponizing the budget, not unlike Trump is weaponizing tariffs. Now dont get me wrong, i am not in here whining about shutting down the government......that is for others.....just wondering if all that angst that was once prevalent when it was Republicans doing it......is still in place now that Democrats are doing it.
