He may not have a choice. There is certainly plenty we do not know. Protecting them makes sense, they know plenty. I do not fault him for doing it, though of course I disagree. I do hope that there is still some way to hold them all accountable for their misdeeds, but I also accept that these are not neophytes we are talking about, they are tenured corrupt people. We (well you) should desire a level of accountability that you sought for Trump.

I tend to agree that Trump was likely to do it, and I oppose releasing those people. Now, Biden has admitted that his DOJ is corrupt and does in fact conduct itself in the very manner Trump has been asserting all these years, we now have TWO presidents admitting this..... SO, of course anyone convicted by that corrupt DOJ should reasonably then be pardoned...... I might be in the minority in more than one area. But I only care about what is right, now what is politically useful.
