Anthony Fauci - Trump revokes security detail for Fauci
RLLD replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
Fauci made a lot of money off of the taxpayers in his deplorable service at NIH, let him pay for his own protection, but the focking coward deal with it himself -
Hey Mitch McConnell - Time for you to join SquidTard…
RLLD replied to Patented Phil's topic in The Geek Club
I do look forward to watching those on the left suddenly celebrate and support Mitch McConnell after years of just tearing him down You see the only thing that matters in liberal circles is loyalty to the party ideology, and if McConnell shows even happenstance lean toward it, they will celebrate him I maintain my posture as it pertains to McConnell, I’ve never liked him and never will -
Trump destroys embattled DEI LA Mayor Karen Bass in fiery exchange over woeful handling of wildfires
RLLD replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
I hope, but I admit it’s unlikely, that the people who voted that POS into office reflect on their choices and next time vote for quality over irrelevant factors -
Don’t forget, was it Leslie stahl who also did this? media lying to help a politician beat another politician….how about that?

Media starting to admit their misdeeds

Putin just said the Ukraine war would've NEVER HAPPENED if the 2020 election wasn't stolen from President Trump.
RLLD replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
I don’t know, maybe….maybe not…. After everything the Democrats have done over the last four years, it’s easier to believe it now. -

Don’t be silly, we only believe Putin when he say things that support liberal elements If he says something that might tend to support conservative elements, he’s clearly a liar -
Well then, if you are willing to sacrifice non criminals I won’t object. It appears as though democrats want to hold firm to no cooperation, no giving in even a little …. Even if it’s criminals…but hey, you sacrifice nothing…it’s the non criminal illegals who get to pay for democrat hubris

ICE arrests irate Haitian gang member, murder and rape suspects in Boston: ‘F–k Trump, Biden forever!’

God it feels good to have someone in the Presidency who can speak, who answers questions, is coherent and clearly in charge......sweet jesus this is nice
-
It is unfortunate for those her illegally who are non-violent of course. But imagine if instead of fighting ICE and Trump.....these localities instead handed over the criminals.....then there would be no ancillary deportations. This is simple common sense, but the insistence on no allowance for any deportations....the all or nothing mentality.....will result in unintended consequences.
-
Very well, on this point we will then have to agree to disagree.
-
Great points. I recall your assertions, so then it makes sense that there is likely no route available to get to the truth via subpoena....
-
I do not concur with your position on this. While i is true that the Republicans are in power and might be able to force their policies into play, I think there is value in the mediation of that policy that the filibuster affords us. I think that about 50%of America not in support of Republicans can still have a voice through the filibuster, and I think it is good and healthy for the democracy. If Republicans are compelled to put forth policy so as to at least secure some Democrat support, then the policy is potentially better. It is through conflict and debate that we hone the best outcomes.

Not sure about the future, I doubt it.... I am thinking about the most corrupt people.....Schiff, Pelosi, Schumer and then those around the Jan 6th committee...... What if congress subpoenas them to testify about their participation? Can they refuse to show up? Refuse to answer? Or can we get them to admit the things they did? Since they face no danger of prosecution? They either refuse to answer or they do, and maybe we can catch them perjuring themselves. I do not expect any of them to actually be held to account. But the value of exposing them for what they really are could benefit Republicans for the next decade....
-
Beats me, but apparently you can do it. I am hopeful that these pardons might effectively force Democrats to admit their crimes. It might not. But my god if it does.....we cannot prosecute them of course, but putting them om full display should hurt the Democrat party really effectively.
-
I find it humorous that the Biden/Democrat position to allow people to come without vetting how has criminals disbursed with non criminals among the immigrant community. So now ICE can use the presence of the criminals to also remove the non criminals. I have to think liberals for their abundant stupidity when it comes to policy for empowering the new administration and ICE to perform at much higher levels. Well done.
-
Its funny because Democrats move from using the filibuster to opposing it, purely depending on whether the power of it benefits them or not. And yet here you have Thune representing the standard Republican position to support it for the ability of those not in power to still have a voice.....the disparity between the two parties on stark display.
-
I see, ok....makes sense
-
If I might, I think that might not be the move here. Rejecting inconvenient truths is not the path. Her death was absolutely a result of failed border policies coupled with failed law enforcement strategies. The win here is admitting and then rolling up the sleeves to find a better way.
-
But, he already has immunity. The pardon ensures he cannot be prosecuted. So if he already has immunity for his deeds, through the pardon.....and is say, subpoenaed to answer questions from Congress....he can answer.....
-
Interesting. So then could he refuse to respond to questions AND refuse the immunity? I honestly do not know. I guess I am wondering whether or not has can avoid answering questions posed to him, and others on the Jan 6th committee as well. Does that make sense? Does the pardon remove their ability to refuse to answer questions since they have been pardoned for their actions?
-
Could it be true, that if say....Adam Schiff is "pardoned" that he then could not use the 5th amendment if questioned by congress?
-
We have been unBidened......by what has been.....

I think skepticism is fine, by all means, and you will likely find flaws better than I. You are keen to see them whereas by bias might be inclined to overlook them
