Let me just say this.....all those people, to include yourself, who were wrong about tariffs might want to pump the brakes....just opposing him because you hate him clearly carries the risk of you losing some credibility....dont you think? Donald Trump’s trade policy is in danger of demonstrating the truth about one of those old definitions of an economist: someone who sees something working in practice and explains why it will never work in theory.

I think you might not be honest here. You only want him to fail because you hate him, the person. I get that....but hoping he will fail and then people will suffer is maybe not the best place for you, mentally and emotionally. So far, its going well, and I hope this trend continues. I have to assume at some point he will make a mistake, and I hope its not a big one. But, simply not making really bad policy means we are doing far better than Biden, who really ruined things for many people

I never said human activities do not influence climate. But I DO,,,,assert that human influence does not contribute to a significant extend. Similarly, we do not have the power to really influence it in a positive way as well.....again, this is pure arrogance, though I cannot discount that they could be paid to say such trite nonsense. Incorrect. The economy is improving because of Trump, in spite of the damage done by Democrats. Ignoring this, or pretending it away....or gaslighting....as you and yours are inclined, simply wont work.

I am not wrong, and even legacy media outlets are lamenting that what I am asserting is true. You see, I watch a diverse set of sources, so I am watching them writhe under the fact that this economy is not merely improving from the damage done by the Biden admin, but is showing it will boom as well.

Saying they arent always right was once a fair statement before Trump. But now they lie with such ease and lack of restraint that anything they might report should result in us starting from the position that it is a lie, and then we have to go from there. There is a reason that NONE.....of the things they have reported on the economy have come true.

What we are witnessing is the important distinction between reading textbooks and working within markets. No doubt there are a section of folks who are mystified because the once read an opinion about Smoot-Hawley or some other irrelevant element and think they know.....but they dont know sh!t....

I think we need to accept that climate is not static and changes. And I think it gets warmer and cooler, and has done so for the entire history of earth. Setting that aside, I think there is an arrogance among humans that presumes they influence it to a significant degree, and can change it. So we have those who presume themselves enlightened who have decided to motivate the weak minded with embellished notions of a threat. This they do because there is a financial reward in scaring people.
