You are perpetually confused, we can all see it.... you rarely have a coherent thought, and your position moves with the political usefulness.....so today you might think something is criminal, but only because you can use it to justify your hate for those who do not think as you do. WASHINGTON — Former CIA Director John Brennan ignored warnings from “veteran” officers in December 2016 and ordered the publication of a “substandard” intelligence report that claimed Russian President Vladimir Putin “aspired” to help Donald Trump win that year’s presidential election, according to a bombshell congressional report made public Wednesday. Brennan is arguably the most at risk in the new disclosures, which appear to contradict his prior testimony before Congress. On May 23, 2017, Brennan testified that the infamous Steele dossier "wasn’t part of the corpus of intelligence information that we had. It was not in any way used as a basis for the Intelligence Community Assessment that was done." Brennan testified to the House Judiciary Committee in May 2023, however, that he did not believe the dossier should be included in that intelligence product. But the new report casts Brennan’s views in a different light, asserting that he “showed a preference for narrative consistency over analytical soundness” and brushed aside concerns over the dossier because of its “conformity with existing theories.” It quotes him, without context, as having written that “my bottomline is that I believe that the information warrants inclusion in the report.” This is nothing new for Brennan, he is a known liar. In March 2014, while addressing allegations that CIA operatives had infiltrated the Senate Intelligence Committee’s computer network, Brennan stated “Nothing could be further from the truth… we wouldn’t do that… that’s just beyond the scope of reason.” Months later, the CIA Inspector General confirmed that they did in fact access Senate computers and staff emails during the Senate’s investigation of CIA interrogation practices. Focking liar Brennan then issued a public apology to Senate leaders and formed an internal accountability board.

Based on my prior posting on this topic I am not really "enthusiastic". I have already noted, and will do so again here, that they simply cannot get Obama.....even if Brennan were to flip on him they will not get Obama. Setting that aside, I do see value in getting the minions at least.

How would I know? If that is your concern, that's fine, I am not hung up on such things. The statute of limitations extends to the duration of the conspiracy. So if Brennan lied again about this last year, or last month, that extends the conspiracy....and with it the statute period as well. I surmise they thought the standard practice of being corrupt and waiting it out was going to protect them here, but it might not.

YOU might then care, and then you can come find me since the politics of the situation result in you caring about corruption and we can then temporarily be aligned.... Understood. Well, Brennan lied at the behest of Obama to ensure there were investigations toward Trump, fraudulent ones, to diminish his ability to accomplish anything. So they have Brennan in lies, which I infer bothers you, so he is best chance....though they have some evidence toward others as well.

I get that, but then again I observe lies on both sides. Now, given your obvious sensitivity for lying as you note above, I would surmise you would also consider the lies of Brennan to be rather offensive as well.

I get that, but this is now at DOJ. It appears on its face that they have a few of these minions in some lies to congress. I bet they at least get Brennan. They probably think that by pinning down someone like Brennan, and obvious coward, they can flip him to take down Obama, but I doubt that happens. Brennan may be a coward, but he will not turn on the cult IMHO. Something tells me they really want to get Obama, and that will never happen, the best they can hope for is to release as much information as possible to paint him in the truest light possible and smear him, thats really all they have here I think

I do not agree with this. That money should be spent to pay down our debt, or be provided to military veterans in need before we do this crap. Moreover, the amount is not too much but this is an inflationary move.

Of course, we can revisit this thread later, when it will be perhaps even more fun.

I do not concur. I think the best outcomes arise when the two sides compete and conflict. Right now the Democrats are owned by the far left radicals who prefer a scorched earth policy, they Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy and then pretend they have to step up and save us from this mysterious enemy....when in fact the enemy is them. I think we as the people of this nation enjoy better outcomes when the two sides negotiate and compromise. I want a healthy Democrat party to resume sanity.

I appreciate Bill Maher, he is an old school liberal.....he still possesses the ability to admit when he is wrong. I still find it baffling that so many people really cannot comprehend why this is all working so well. This is not hard to follow that Trump was working this masterfully....

When implementing sound economic strategy of course the results are positive. I hope people see how great this is going to be and really get some enthusiasm. This is really only the beginning, we wont really see the magic for another year or two, then this all hits and people can really enjoy some spectacular performance in the economy. If I were to advise the Democrats at this stage..... its time to allow the radical progressives to go on their own way and join in with this. Let the hateful and violent segment of your party that celebrates criminals and terrorists go do their own thing and reclaim the party from them, then find common ground with the president where you can, and rebuild your party.
