Buffalo's down 21-10. They score a TD and had they kicked the PAT it would 21-17. Down 4. They scored again and again went for 2, chasing points. Had they kicked a PAT there too, 24-21, up by 3. KC scored a TD to go up 27-22. They went for 2 and got it. Had Buffalo kicked those 2 PATs, KC would have done the same to make it 28-24 KC. Buffalo scores a TD and, had they kicked the PAT, they would be up 31-28. KC's FG would have TIED the game at 31-31. But nope. Coaches gotta show how smart they are and go for two! And so they lost...again!

I wonder how many 2-pt fails will cost teams games before idiot coaches stop.

He had made a lot this season towards his next contract, but, so far this game, it's all unraveling!

Eventually, the stage couch was gonna turn back into a pumpkin.

Yeah sure. Cause a 4th or 5th RB or WR you may or may not play but a couple of times is infinitely more valuable than a top 2/3 overall TE that you will play every week they're active. Strong logic.

Saturday Discussion: Broncos @ Bengals - Week 17

What horrible game management was that by the Bungles!?! Just move to the left and fall down. Make Denver use that time out, fall down again, kick a FG, and win the game. But nope! Let's score a TD. Stupid. -

That first carry for 5 yards was too good it seems. New England had to nip that in bud! -

Stevenson is fast earning his way on to my Avoid List for next year. Maybe in the 12th round as my #6 RB...if the byes work. Maybe then. -
"Forced to go to the running game" 51 combined passes to 48 combined runs.

Oh thank God! It's over! Just when you thought the NFL couldn't put a worst product on the field than the Saints, the Seahhawks and da Bears say hold our beers!

Well, this IS a fantasy site so most of us would probably be hoping for more points as more points in real football mean more points in fantasy football. It's hard to win in fantasy on 3 FGs - unless you have those Kickers (which I didn't, thank you Fairbum) or those Defenses or your opponent his loaded with the actual offensive players.
-
Oooh! What happened? I dosed off.

This is why fantasy football can suck. You have a team (albeit a fantasy team) all year and it just falls apart from injuries and some players being on teams that have nothing to play for. But, the NFL, intentionally or not, schedules 6 teams on a bye week 16 forces fantasy leagues to go later into the already stretched season. And so these situations bite us in the ass! Fun times.

The Ravens were 26th in the league against kickers going into this week - meaning only 6 teams gave up more points kickers per game. Their defense against the pass has been bad so teams can move the ball on them (other than Houston it seems) but then maybe stall when they get close and can't run. That IS a recipe for kickers scoring and it has been all season. But that's ok. I also had Henry so he carried the load. Just would have been nice if Houston had done anything on offense. Anything at all.

So, your eyes believe last year but not this year?

Wow! That is so cool! Getting a ZERO from your K in the Championship!

Coaches and their refusal to take the easy 3...just stupid.

The Chiefs use DeHop so little!

It seems glory hog QBs are not limited to Green Bay.

Are you guys approaching the Christmas games with caution?
Law replied to nobody's topic in FFToday Board
Well, they played Saturday first of all. So that's the same timeframe as playing Sunday and then Thursday. So these two games are like a TNF game. And so yes, I would approach them with that level of caution. -
It's amazing that NFL teams can put product like this on the field. It happens way more than it should!
-
There is definitely a history of Green Bay QBs being glory hogs!
