Scott had originally agreed to five years and $40 million before deciding to give the Ravens a chance to match. In an effort to break the story, many national sources said the deal was officially agreed to. But it was never signed and it now appears Scott is having second thoughts and wants to give Baltimore another shot. We don't see why Baltimore wouldn't match now, but it's no lock. According to FoxSports.com's John Czarnecki, Steven Jackson is "85 percent not to play" Sunday. We'll see. The Czar has been off before and perhaps the Rams are sending out mixed signals. If Jackson is out against the Patriots, Antonio Pittman and Travis Minor will share the load. Jackson owners should get alternatives ready.
