There is a cut, so I think drafting 5 makes sense.

Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)

Not true. Clinton was treated in a somewhat similar fashion his second term. It was wrong then…it’s wrong now. -

It wasn’t anything close to or resembling a fair trial. Maybe the correct verdict was reached, but the process was horrendous and EXTREMELY prejudicial. -

You’re better than me then. If someone tracked me relentlessly for eight years, they could find an angle to prosecute me for something. I’m quite certain I’ve broken laws whether I knew I did or not. Point is, if someone engaged in a witch hunt against any one of us, I think they would eventually find an angle to prosecute something. This whole thing should scare the heck out of people, but if it isn’t “ your guy”, it’s somehow just. If you want to apply “the law is the law”, good luck with that. It’s Pandora’s box. -

Do you understand what selective prosecution is? Do you realize that you and I could probably be charged with something if someone was willing to dig? Tons of people break laws they’re never prosecuted for. This was a dig up from years ago that was very much selectively prosecuted. -

But what led the DA to pursue the case in the first place? Who was harmed by Trump’s actions? The DA, who should be tending to all of NY’s bigger issues decided to hone in and get his man. -

I don’t watch Fox News and I don’t think Trump is innocent. I have never voted for Trump in the primary process. I’m not pro-Trump or even pro- Republican. I’m just anti-anti-anti Democrat. I think they’re destroying the country on multiple fronts. -

Over a democrat? You bet. The Democratic Party in this country is the embodiment of evil. -

What I want is for justice to be equal on both sides of the aisle. Biden was not taken to task for his deeds because he was a "forgetful old man". Do you honestly think Biden has not committed crimes? We've opened up Pandora's box here and it's going to be open season on political opponents anytime a sitting president is enough of a low-life to allow it. It is truly a sickening verdict and I don't even like Trump. Sad, sad day in this country. Dark, in fact. -
June Mock 2024 - Check In- MONDAY MORNING!
Fumbleweed replied to Mike FF Today's topic in The Mocking Station
Dan, what if you drafted the first two days and then maybe Mike could take it from there based on some general instructions you leave for him. That way, you are still a part of the No-Hassle league and stuff. -

A lot of stuff is rigged. I don't know about fair-unfair. It's more about consistency across the political spectrum, which is sorely lacking. Trump did stuff wrong. Did it rise to the level of tying up all the resources for this case? I don't see it. Trump was not sent by God. America is still awesome. More people examine the all the good and bad and still choose Trump than just blind sheep doing so. -

They're both guilty of suppression of information- both Trump and Biden. This is just stupid. Politicians do this all the time. Doesn't make it right (or wrong for that matter), but to act as if this is somehow exclusive to Trump is just stupid. Politics is a dirty, corrupt business. Either throw the whole batch out or quit targeting one in particular. -
So, I did a five-round mock draft recently to get an idea as to where I see players being picked in redrafts and how teams might look after those five rounds are up. I am listing all 12 teams with QB (if they have one) listed first followed by RB, WR, and TE (again, if they have one). So, after five rounds, the twelve teams look like this. Which team would you rather have? (Non-PPR) 1. Anthony Richardson, Christian McCaffrey, Chris Olave, Amari Cooper, Sam LaPorta 2. Jalen Hurts, Devon Achane, Rhamondre Stevenson, CeeDee Lamb, Jaylen Waddle 3. Joe Burrow, Isiah Pacheco, Alvin Kamara, Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans 4. C.J. Stroud, Breece Hall, Kenneth Walker, Deebo Samuel, DeVonta Smith 5. James Conner, Zamir White, Ja'Marr Chase, Brandon Aiyuk, Travis Kelce 6. Dak Prescott, Josh Jacobs, Justin Jefferson, Marvin Harrison, Jr., Drake London 7. Josh Allen, Bijan Robinson, Davante Adams, D.K. Metcalf, Trey McBride 8. Lamar Jackson, Jonathan Taylor, Aaron Jones, Garrett Wilson, Michael Pittman 9. Travis Etienne, Rachaad White, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Tee Higgins 10. Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, D.J. Moore, Stefon Diggs, Mark Andrews 11. Patrick Mahomes, Jahmyr Gibbs, Joe Mixon, Puka Nacua, George Kittle 12. Kyren Williams, James Cook, Najee Harris, A.J. Brown, Nico Collins

Yes. Lamb was the second overall pick just ahead of Tyreek Hill. That's about where he's been going in most mocks I've seen.

You're right in the sense that I can't ever fully or even mostly insert myself into another's shoes. That would be prejudicial. But, I do think 10x is a stretch in 2024. A big one. Corporate entities will look to hire a minority person over a non-minority in most cases without hesitation if both are qualified. Biden was speaking to highly educated black males. A black man with a college degree doesn't have to then work 10x harder than anyone to get anything. He'll have ample opportunities in 2024.
-
Biden said at Morehouse that black men have to work 10x as hard as white men just the break through in the world. Hyperbole much? Good grief.

With my PGA winnings covering the next two tourneys, I am now paid up through the US Open.
-
I e-mailed Mike this morning to see if that date works for him. Certainly works for me.
-
I remember Market Basket from when I lived there as a kid. The one we went to most was also called DeMoula's.
-
We have three events left, correct? If it's $100 that I win, then just put that towards the Memorial and US Open then. Then, if I don't win anything in those events, I'll just owe $50 more for the British.
