It's an EXCITING Time to be a Seahawks Fan

If Mallett is there at 25, I'll be upset if we don't take him!

    Julian Peterson traded to Lions

He has been on the Lions the past few years. The Lions! Like I said, last year he was on pace through 12 games to have 12 tackles behind the line which would have put him up with 3 of the best DT's in the entire league. In 07 he did have 12 and in 06 he was a monster. Considering he played that well on the Lions, he looks to be a very good DT.

    Julian Peterson traded to Lions

Well Peterson didn't play well last year either. Do I hold that against him? No. Which is why DET fans shouldnt hold it against REdding. Here is a stat.... Through 12 games last year Redding was on pace for 51 tackles and 12 tackles behind the line(sacks and tackles for loss). Last year there were only 3 DTs in the NFL that had atleast 50 tackles and atleast 12 tackles behind the line.. Albert Haynesworth Kevin Williams Shaun Rogers Last year there were only 5 DTs with atleast 12 tackles behind the line, but Redding was on pace for 12 last year, had 12 in 2007 and 20 in 2006. Interesting.....

He wasnt even the best linebacker on the team.

    Hey Seahawks fans

No earlier than 3, unless a top back like Moreno or Wells falls to the 2nd.

    Housh a Hawk

Weaver cancelled his trip to N.O. The Saints have Mike Karney and weren't a great fit anyway. "League observers" tell the St. Louis Post-Dispatch they think Weaver will stay in Seattle. From Rotoworld http://rotoworld.com/content/playernews.aspx?sport =NFL

    Housh a Hawk

If you actually paid attention, I was responding to the guy that thought 15 million guaranteed was too much. I was quite aware the deal was 40 million over 5 years(which by the way is a lot less than the 10 million a year some people thought he would get. Bottom line, guaranteed money is what really matters because Housh will most likely never see the last 2 years of his deal. HTH

    Housh a Hawk

I wasnt aware we lost Weaver yet? Do you know something I dont? Also, Duckett is NOT a bad goal line/ short yardage back. In fact he converted a great percentage last year and helped turn around the short yardage game. Too bad no other facet of the offense was any good.

    Housh a Hawk

15 million over 5 years? Michael Clayton got 10.5 What has he done that compares to Housh?

2008 NFL Draft Weekend Team Thread: Seattle Seahawks

Thats funny, because I never respected you. You were always a whiny tool. I bet you thought Mario Williams was a bust once he had a horrible rookie season? Rookie's dont normally have very good first years, which is why it is so impressive when one does. A rookie is thought to need time to develop. Carlson is special because he didnt need that time. Get it?? Oh wait, look who I'm talking to. A focking idiot, thats right. There's no way you could comprehend actual logic.

2008 NFL Draft Weekend Team Thread: Seattle Seahawks

Even being a rookie and the only teams viable threat in the passing game (meaning defenses could key on him), I still never saw him drop a pass. He is one of the best young TE's in the league. Did I mention you were a focking idiot?

2008 NFL Draft Weekend Team Thread: Seattle Seahawks

haha. Top 10 in every stat for TE's as a rookie. TE is not a need unless depth at the #2 and 3 spots. You are a focking idiot.

lions tried to trade for jay cutler today

That doesnt make any sense. Maybe Cutler or Rivers will never carry you to a super bowl (even that is debatable), but they are easily good enough to lead a team to the super bowl. They were both thought to be better than Eli and who made the Super Bowl? They are much better than many QBs that have started in the SB.
