    10th Pick...PPR....How did I do? Any changes?

Looks good. Would have passed on Baldwin and looked at another WR or even QB round 4. Cousins will be fine, but solid D usually game scripts for more running.

Rest of Season - Gurley or Peterson

PPR league with 5 pt bonus at 100 yards rushing...who would you rather have?
  8. Tried a new format to freshen things up and not be "just another league" this year. So far, everybody loves the new format. I'd like to hear your thoughts... It's a Cutthroat Survivor league. In a nutshell, here is how it works: 16 teams, 10 player superflex with no bench. We use team QB to prevent bad beats due to injuries from the highest scoring position. Total points weekly, not head-to-head matchups. For the first four weeks, the lowest scoring team has the option of buying back in; after that, lowest scoring team is eliminated. Done. For the season. Players go back into the pool. Winner of the week wins 50% of entry fee or can opt for immunity for the upcoming week. Add/drops cost 5% of entry, so roster churn adds to the pot each week. Waiver wire starts as reverse draft order and does not reset weekly. It makes fantasy more of a game of strategy. Like this week: is the Aaron Rodgers owner going to drop him or take a zero and risk elimination? There are lots of quality players available as free agents, but do you burn your waiver spot or wait until players become free agents? You typically want to start two quarterbacks, but a couple of teams were not able to roster two QBs due to early bye weeks. On Wednesday, five teams made free agent pickups between 2am and 6am, which is exactly the kind of craziness I was hoping for. Lots of interesting game theory involved. All four teams bought back in that scored the lowest in the first four weeks. For the week 16 championship, four teams will remain and three will split the remaining pot 60/30/10. Fourth place wins nothing. All will have stacked teams. Next year, we may add a total points pot to award the highest scoring surviving team through the end of the bye weeks. What do you think? Thumbs up? Any suggestions to improve? Have you played in anything like this?

Created a new league format...let me know what you think

QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, K, D, + Superflex QBs did go early, but not all teams started the season with two QBs. Once bye weeks started, not all teams could field two QBs. One team had Cam, Olsen and Brandon Marshall as three best players going into week five. He dropped them all and picked up Browns QB, Barnidge and another WR and won the week when the Browns all put up ridiculous numbers. The finality of elimination makes everyone try harder. More active on waiver wire for sure, especially with no bench.

Rest of Season - Gurley or Peterson

Thanks! Went with Gurley. With injury, I don't think he has been fully integrated into the offense yet, plus TD regression to mean is coming. I think he is more game flow-proof than Peterson as well. Both were free agents from an eliminated team in an interesting new format I set up this year: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=449785&p=5565750 Good luck this week!

Drop Cameron or Oliver for Rudolph? whir

Yep - drop Oliver for Rudolph. He got off to a great start, then floundered as the rest of the SD backfield got healthy. I believe his window of opportunity as a feature back has closed for now. Cameron and Kelce have been maddeningly inconsistent, so worth a shot on Rudolph.

    JThomas for Marshall?

Was offered Brandon Marshall for Julius Thomas. PPR league with bonus for long TDs. My backup TE is Kelce; Marshall would replace Mike Wallace/Michael Floyd. Will answer yours...

    Big Ben or Peyton?

Similar situation here with Rodgers and Big Ben. Currently have Big Ben slated to start, but also trying to deal him this week. You should prob do the same to strengthen WR/RB down the stretch.

What do you need Monday night? - playoff addition

I need Brandon Marshall to have an Alshon Jeffery-type game with 24 points in PPR, plus whatever Gould gets from all those extra points.

    Josh Gordon risky play?

I was on the fence too, based on BB's ability to scheme against opposing players. Then I saw that Gordon has been targeted 47 times in the past three weeks, and 64 in the past five games, including KC, BALT, PIT, CIN in four of five. Solid defenses have not been able to stop him. I hope that trend continues today!

    Greg Jennings to the Vikings

I love Aaron Rodgers: From Twitter yesterday, just a minute apart: "Change is a big part of our business. Losing friends 2 other teams is tough. Hang in there cheesehead nation, lots 2 b excited about in 2013" "Had a lot of teammates in 8 yrs in GB. Few that I enjoyed as much as @TCrabtree83. Your tats, mustache n poor taste in music will be missed" Those tweets say it all...
  19. Long standing keeper league with credit system for re-signing players (four credits per year)...very little in the way of shady or questionable dealings ever - until today... Team A gives Steve Johnson, Owen Daniels (inj), Kahlil Bell and Lions D & ten credits Team B gives Wes Welker, Torrey Smith, Ray Rice and Falcons D Commish approved trade based on credits adding value to the Team A offer. Team B does not need credits and does not have any players worthy of re-signing Commissioner and I are not involved in trade... Team A gets four starters for a bench WR, a droppable D, an injured TE (TE not required) and a worthless RB Please comment freely as the impartial jury!

Chime in on this trade - approved by commish!

I'm 8-2 and in the playoffs already... The team trading away players for credits doesn't have anyone worth keeping at this point. My main concern is that he drops out of the league next year and leaves a decimated dynasty team, making it difficult to find a replacement.

Credits can be used to keep a player (four credits), or pick up a player (one credit). Teams generally start the year with 12 credits and can bank credits from year to year. Credits have value if you have strong keepers, as you can keep more players for the following year.

Agree, especially with McFadden, Sproles, and Bradshaw as my backfield. That scenario my friends, is why you have to play multiple leagues.

    Marques Colston.....

Benched Colston for J Graham - and playing against Brees. Hanging on due to Reggie Wayne, Harvin and Matthews...but can't afford OT!

Tate pushes Shields out of the play, then palms the ball with one hand, creating simultaneous possession. Immediately after the game, he steals the nickname Beast Mode from Lynch.
