    Rodgers vs. Romo

Shouldn't you give proper credit for this article originally written September 16, 2009? And since then Romo's career YPA has declined to 8.09 according to ESPN. Maybe you just forgot to post the link so in the spirit of the season I will hook you up: http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/Article.php?Page=2821
  2. Although I agree with you and would love to see NO win it all, you contention of Dallas "self-anoit"ing themselves is pretty far off base. Tell me you're not the type of person to believe everything you hear on sports talk radio: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America%27s_Team

Yep mine works, channel 266 here
  4. I have always wanted to take part in a keeper league, but the people in my league are apprehensive about it. I figured I could try to ease them into it this year by suggesting that starting next year we can keep one player that we draft this year after the first four rounds and have that count as the pick next year one round earlier - for example if you draft Santonio Holmes in the 5th round this year, he can be your 4th round pick next year etc. My only questions are what about players who go undrafted. A few years ago Colston went undrafted in many leagues then blew up during the season. Does the person who picked him up of the wire get to keep him in return for a 13th round pick (assuming a 14 round draft)? Or what if somebody drafts Harvin only for him to start slowly and get cut by one team and picked up by another? Does the new team assume the original draft position of 9th or 10th round? Also what if the league expands? We are usually a 12 team league but two members left this year on short notice and we weren't able to find reliable replacements in time for this season so we are down to 10 teams. We plan to expand to 12 again next year. What happens to the 2 new franchises? Do they get to choose between starting new next year or grabbing any non-keeper off of somebody else's roster with the same loss of draft pick that everybody else gets? Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
  5. Quite a difference from draft day to now. Starters in bold. Current record 9-3 (we play 1 double header to make sure everybody plays each team at least oncce, twice for divisional opponents) Draft Day..........Week 12 McNabb.............McNabb .........................Thigpen M Barber...........M Barber L Johnson.........Slaton K Smith..............Grant F Jones..............K Smith Bradshaw...........F Jones Megatron............S Smith Jennings.............Jennings S Smith...............D Jackson S Moss................Avery Hackett................S. K. Winslow Info Anybody?

I have tried various scenarios with multiple owners in my league for a good tight end. everything from package deals of a rb and mid tier wr, to a straight one for one trade. Nobody will bite on anything except sending one of my WR1's to them.

    K. Winslow Info Anybody?

While it's great having Jennings, Tron, and S Smith, I can only start 2. TE is mandatory in my league and I have been lacking in that area all year. While I haven't made the trade thus far, is it better to add an extra 6 or seven points a week to a teams TE output, or have Calvin or Jennings points sitting on my bench?

    K. Winslow Info Anybody?

I have a fairly strong team, just lacking a feature TE. Any Browns homers around that can tell me if Winslow is completely healthy and in no danger of losing his position for the balance of the season? I am very comfortable at the WR spot rotating S Smith, Megatron, and Jennings with Avery and Holmes backing them up. I am considering overpaying and sending one of my top 3 (either Megatron or Jennings) for Kellen, just want to make sure there are no skeletons in the closet regarding Winslow as I don't get much Browns news up in this area. Any input would be great.

One Spot Left - Avery Or Benson

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up going with Avery after hearing the early rumors of Holmes' Mary Jane episode.

    Defiantly Jake.

    Week 8 Help

I like Jake, Lendale against the horrible Indy D, and Avery who looks like the true #1 in STL lately.
  12. I'm really want to add both Avery and Cedric to my roster but only have one spot that I feel comfortable dropping (Greg Olsen with the hopes that nobody will pick him up because it is his bye week). Keeping my roster in mind, would you look to bolster your RB position or WR position. I know the likelihood of either making it off my bench is slim, but I always like to add starting players (for their real NFL team) to my team, as either future trade bait or merely to keep them from other teams in the league. I'm hoping to add a player this week and drop San Fran Def next week after Green Bay's bye to add Olsen back to the roster. My current roster: QB - McNabb, Schaub RB - MBIII, Slaton, Grant, K Smith, F Jones WR - Jennings, S. Smith, Megatron, S. Holmes TE - Z. Miller, Olsen K - Lindell D - Green Bay, San Fransisco

    All this talk about busts

Really? I count 6 plays for AD on that drive that accounted for 19 total yards. Or about 3.1667 yards per play. Are you sure you're not mistaking the ref that made the insane PI call for AD because that is the only reason that Minnesota was able to go "down the field on the final drive."

Official 'I Traded LJ For A Song After Week 2'

I dumped him after week 2 along with Santana Moss for Grant and Santonio Holmes. To add insult to injury I played the team that I traded them to last week and LJ/Moss basically beat my team all by themselves.

    What is LJ worth?

I just sent away LJ and Santana Moss for Ryan Grant and Santonio Holmes. I felt I was pretty comfortable with my WRs minus Moss (see original roster in sig) and wanted to upgrade my second RB. Initially Grant and LJ may be equal when factoring in Grant's injury and LJ's lack of participation in the KC offense, but I feel that Grant's situation will only improve (and if it doesn't I have B Jackson on my bench) while LJs situation in the best case scenario will stay roughly the same, and may even get worse. With the WRs, if I see any production from Holmes I will consider it a win as Moss would have never made it off my bench unless my team was decimated with injuries. For reasons I can't explain I have always held an irrational prejudice for Moss but he somehow made it onto my squad this year. I couldn't be happier that he had a great two weeks to inflate his trade value.
