You answer my question first. Do actors on set always treat guns as if they’re loaded? And if so, how do they ever film gun scenes?
-
Is that actually protocol on movie shoots? Because they have someone on set who is paid to do that. If you treat guns as though they’re loaded all the time nobody would ever point a firearm at anyone else on film.

Hopefully Trump will put an end to global inflation his next term, right after he finishes the wall, eliminates the debt and replaces the ACA with something wonderful.

Nothing. I just thought it was funny.

How do you feel about pretending crime rose 75% from 2021 to 2022?

If the Broncos benched Wilson solely for performance reasons the NFLPA wouldn’t get involved. The NFLPA says that threatening to bench him unless he forfeit salary guarantees violates the collective bargaining agreement. If that’s what Denver did I bet they have a case and get fined or possibly forfeit a draft pick. Let’s say Russ overperformed his contract and threatened to not play unless Denver renegotiated less than 2 years into a 5-year deal. The fans would roast him and rightfully so. I don’t see how this is much different. It’s playing out the way it should. Denver is on the hook for their own stupid deal, Russ plays somewhere else and the NFLPA files a complaint.
-
Russell Wilson would have had the 2nd highest single season QBR in Bears franchise history last year.
-
Don’t actors aim guns at each other all the time while filming movies?
-
Basing this all on assuming what Russ said was true: Why should he restructure? He hadn’t even finished Year 2 of a 5-year deal and played pretty well last year statistically. If he’d outplayed his 5-year contract after 1.5 years and demanded a raise everybody would roast him. The Broncos are fine to restructure but “Restructure or we bench you” isn’t a negotiation. I’d tell them to go pound sand too. The way it worked out is the way it should be. Denver wants him gone, Russ plays elsewhere. Now they can pay him $40m per. It’s their own fault for making that stupid trade in the first place. em.
-
Russ played better YT even if he sucked just bench him. Telling the guy “we modify your contract or you get benched” is crao. I hope the NFLPA roasts Denver.

I’m not a big college ball guy so maybe Bowers is all that, but the history of 1st round TEs is pretty bad.
-
If that happens I’ll agree with Hawkeye that duh Bears can ruin any QB so there’s no point in Chicago ever drafting one.

I think this is the post you were looking for @TimHauck

I rode the NY subway many times last year and never felt threatened. Stayed overnight in Hell’s Kitchen too. I keep my head on a swivel.

You should read this article on the 2000 election in Florida. https://www.salon.com/2000/11/28/hightower/ 24,000 registered Dems in Florida voted for Nader. 308,000 registered Dems in FL voted for BUSH! Yeah it’s his fault. I’m not rooting for bad things to happen if Trump wins. Bad things almost certainly will happen no matter what I’m hoping for because these candidates SUCK. I’m just saying, the party that does win this election is going to “enjoy” a terrible next term. If you were purely rooting for a side here (I’m not) you’d be better off building a bench roster of non elderly leadership.
-
The part I object to is that a vote for a 3rd party candidate is a vote for Trump. That’s only true if the Democratic Party owns your vote in the first place. I haven’t been a registered Dem for a long time. If I were invested in the future of that party I’d probably hope for a Trump win. He’ll have the worst 2nd term you’ve ever seen and wreck the GOP brand for a decade like W did.
-
Making up unsupported stats is lazy.
-
You’ve been trained well by the Democratic Party to reflexively vote for whoever they put forward no matter how bad. This is exactly how candidates as bad as Trump and Biden can count on 40-45% of the electorate to back them no matter what.
-
There are several 3rd party candidates and the option to not vote.

The editorializing at the end was the funny part. That and calling reps of a partisan think tank “scholars.” -

It’s an election year tradition! I remember that DSouza guy making a feature length movie about how Obummer was going to make America a communist hellscape back in 2012. Turns out Barry was just another Wall Street flunky.
