If Peefoam was a pilot everybody would get off the plane. Because everyone hates Peefoam.

As an outsider looking in I think the Cowboys coaching is a bigger issue than the talent.

I thought Dallas was a Top 5 team all year but figured they’d lose on an ugly turnover, bad penalties and/or clock mismanagement in the NFCCG. I never thought they’d get rolled by a wild card in Round 1. But I liked it.

I voted Yes. Lotta racist Trumpers here.

Rachel Maddow defends MSNBC's refusal to air Trump's Iowa victory speech

Nobody who watches MSNBC was going to vote for Trump anyway. -
He’ll quit when Taylor tells him to quit!

Drew Lock and Tyrod Taylor torched the Eagles D too. I’d pump the breaks on Baker a little.

Kelce can still play at a high level but he seems like an interesting guy who has things going on outside of football. He’s been Year to Year for a few seasons and Philly already drafted his understudy / heir. It’s probably time for him and Fletcher Cox to go. I think Brandon Graham and Lane have another year left.
-
I figured this was coming. Fletcher Cox is probably next. Sad to see him go but it was time.
-
Won’t matter in hindsight but that basically meant Philly needed fast stops and 2 TDs + 2 point conversions on consecutive drives. Not a gamble I’d have made!

I’m normally a fan of being aggressive but I’d have taken the points there.

I had no expectations and yet I’m still underwhelmed.

After decades of advocacy, suicide deterrent finally comes to the Golden Gate Bridge

The study I saw showed that a 30-day waiting period for gun purchases reduced handgun suicide by >10%. I bet some people attempted handgun by other methods but some of them probably didn’t reattempt at all because (like you said) the most lethal option wasn’t readily available. I saw a short documentary on suicides at the Golden Gate Bridge years ago. 39 people have survived jumping from it vs. 2000 dead, which makes that jump about as lethal as a shotgun blast to the head. They interviewed one survivor who said he regretted his decision the second he jumped. He somehow survived with minimal injuries. -

Even better if there’s some stats to back that up. -
What is it was a trans-Atlantic flight? The trannies might be better equipped to help you through your journey.

I can think of a few ways that breaking into a federal building and assaulting cops and lighting a church on fire is different than shaking a fence and waving a bad flag. -

I’m not interested in a gun debate, but there is evidence that waiting list periods for gun purchases reduce suicides. Maybe people who are in an intense period of depression make a quick bad decision if the means are right there? Most people who would have jumped probably will find a new method of suicide. My guess is some small percentage won’t. If this was massive spending I‘d get the complaint but like I said, a one time cost of $220m seems worthwhile if it prevents 3-4 people from committing suicide per year. If we handed out exit bags to everyone who thought they wanted to die at any given moment we’d probably have way more than 50,000 suicides per years. -

Let’s say we be out of every 10 potential jumpers doesn’t commit suicide and the rest do. At a one-time cost of $220 they’ll have saved 3 people a year. That seems to be a decent benefit for the cost given than 2,000 people have jumped off the GGB since it was built. Of all the wasteful spending to complain about, this is the thing that makes you mad.
