    Trump’s New Company, net-worth balloons to $6.4B

Whenever I ask what Trump did that was so great, I hear about the .5% lower unemployment rate than his predecessor and booming stock market - the same metrics MAGAs don’t want to use to judge the economy today. And when I ask what he did to cause those good things to happen I get no answer, because his economic policies (tax cuts, deregulation, deficit spending) were boilerplate GOP. I’m not saying he was better or worse than anyone else. But Trump’s successes are wildly overblown and he was mostly coming into a right place / right time situation. Many other POTUSs are like that too, for example Clinton. But only one of them has shrines built in his honor and his very own national anthem.

AZ Brings Back 160 Year Old Abortion Ban

I for one support a 160-y/o abortion ban. Even after a few months a typical abortion will lose most of its juiciness and flavor. They should be banned after a month or 2 tops.

AZ Brings Back 160 Year Old Abortion Ban

The government subsidizes abortion providers. I don’t know if they’re outright paying for anyone’s abortions. But they probably should, because it would cost less in the long run.

I didn’t say the mom has to be the winner. I said your complaints about paying for it short sighted because not paying for it will cost more in the long run. HTH

AZ Brings Back 160 Year Old Abortion Ban

It’s the truth though. Introducing tens of thousands of unwanted kids by overwhelmingly low income parents is going to cost taxpayers way more than subsidizing abortion.

You probably make that $ back in what you don’t pay for welfare and the criminal Justice system etc.
  9. For someone who doesn’t require approval, you sure are having a spasm over me calling your post out for what it was. It’s almost like you’re fooling no one and deep down know I’m right. Have a nice day Ray.
  10. Nobody cares what your approach is. Everyone knows what the intent of your post was because we’re all familiar with your act by now - deflecting, whataboutism, “they did it first” etc. We’ve seen it all before, many times.
  11. Are you going to tag me all day @RLLD? I quoted exactly what you said - your words.

I didn’t misrepresent what you posted. The thread is about AZ Reps. You shoehorned in your criticism of Dems, because that’s what you always do. I know it, you know it, everyone knows it. Just own it.

I’m a thread about GOP abortion policy in AZ you find a way to complain about Democrat hypocrisy and their “malleable morality.” Typical Ray.

  23. On two separate occasions in 2020, Tony Sfeir tricked two men into believing they were talking to a woman online, and invited them over to his Toronto home to have anonymous sex through a hole in a sheet hanging in a doorway. The ruse came to an end when the second man pulled the sheet down to find Sfeir cowering on the ground in a black wig, and he was later arrested. Ontario Court Justice Cathy Mocha convicted the 33-year-old of two counts of sexual assault, given that the victims had been misled about the identity of their sexual partner. On Friday, she sentenced him to 28 months in prison — 14 months for each count. He’ll also be on the sex offenders registry for the next 10 years. “It is the violation of personal integrity and the negating of the victims’ right of self-determination that makes these offences serious,” Mocha said. Sfeir will be seeking his release on bail pending the outcome of his appeal of Mocha’s decision, his lawyer told the Star. “He maintains that he was wrongfully convicted and that his convictions rested on legal error,” Bryan Badali said. In her previous decision convicting Sfeir last September, Mocha found that the two victims believed they were talking online with a woman and were going over to her home for a “glory hole scenario,” that is, a hole in a wall — or other material — through which people can engage in typically anonymous sex. As instructed, the victims walked into the home and put their penises inside a hole in a sheet hanging in a doorway. Oral sex was performed, and then it became penetration without warning, which both victims believed was anal. Their identities are covered by a standard publication ban. Mocha rejected Sfeir’s testimony that the men were in fact communicating with a woman named “Angela,” who he said had access to his home. The judge concluded that “Angela” was a fictitious person created by Sfeir. In her sentencing decision Friday, Mocha found that there was “no evidence of real remorse or appreciation of harm done” on Sfeir’s part and that his offences involved a fair degree of planning. “The method he used of the glory hole, using a wig, telling the victims they had to be quiet so he wouldn’t have to speak to them — all helped to maintain the illusion that he created in his communications that the victims were engaging with a woman,” the judge said. The two victims now question their judgement and feel self-doubt and guilt, Mocha said. Rink
