Some elites dislike Trump because he’s a disgusting vulgarian and it is sort of funny watching him tick them off like Rodney Dangerfield at Bushwood. But all of them are happy to have Don play the clown while he gives them exactly the pro rich, pro corporate, anti labor policies they wanted. And he did it while convincing morons that he’s a “populist.” lol
-
I’ve got to hand it to Trump. He came to Washington with a 40-year history of tax evasion, business fraud and stiffing contractors. His businesses hire illegals and manufacture their products in China. His admin was full of ivory tower elites and consistently pro corporate and anti labor. He literally lives in a country club. And somehow people still think he’s a populist. 100 years ago he’d have been a terrific snake oil salesman or tent revival preacher. Lot of people like being duped.

I didn’t get you for not being aware of what all Geeks post. I got you for claiming “no one” called it murder or made it about politics.
-
Yeah, you were wrong. And the political stuff started from Page 1. HTH.
-
You should take a spin through this thread: Link Several Geeks said he should go to jail for murder and it’s obviously about politics for the GC.
-
Okay. Again I don’t really care other being sort of amused at Geeks saying he should go to jail for murder because they don’t like his politics. That’s not going to happen.

Unlike you I have no feelings about Baldwin so I’m not personally invested in the outcome of this case. It just seems to me if the industry hires a supposed expert to assume responsibility for the handling of firearms that’s who should be held liable. I’ll be surprised if he serves any jail time for it.
-
How do you know he wasn’t aiming to the side of or over her head and shot her anyway? Assuming Baldwin has no particular firearms training. Anyway, whatever. It’s a sad situation but doubt he’s going to see any jail time.

Good. We shouldn’t be funding Israel’s war.

Tranny!
-
Okay.
-
Doesn’t matter if that makes sense to me - that seems to be industry standard on film sets.
-
From what I’ve read the responsibility for checking and loading / unloading firearms on set is with the property manager / armory: https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-59035488.amp Why would the actor feel the need to check the firearm when somebody is getting paid to do it? Would a layman even know what a blank looks like vs a live round?
-
You answer my question first. Do actors on set always treat guns as if they’re loaded? And if so, how do they ever film gun scenes?
-
Is that actually protocol on movie shoots? Because they have someone on set who is paid to do that. If you treat guns as though they’re loaded all the time nobody would ever point a firearm at anyone else on film.

Imagine how drunk she must have been.

He’s gonna fix everything.

Hopefully Trump will put an end to global inflation his next term, right after he finishes the wall, eliminates the debt and replaces the ACA with something wonderful.
-
Nothing. I just thought it was funny.

How do you feel about pretending crime rose 75% from 2021 to 2022?

If the Broncos benched Wilson solely for performance reasons the NFLPA wouldn’t get involved. The NFLPA says that threatening to bench him unless he forfeit salary guarantees violates the collective bargaining agreement. If that’s what Denver did I bet they have a case and get fined or possibly forfeit a draft pick. Let’s say Russ overperformed his contract and threatened to not play unless Denver renegotiated less than 2 years into a 5-year deal. The fans would roast him and rightfully so. I don’t see how this is much different. It’s playing out the way it should. Denver is on the hook for their own stupid deal, Russ plays somewhere else and the NFLPA files a complaint.
-
Russell Wilson would have had the 2nd highest single season QBR in Bears franchise history last year.
-
Don’t actors aim guns at each other all the time while filming movies?
-
Basing this all on assuming what Russ said was true: Why should he restructure? He hadn’t even finished Year 2 of a 5-year deal and played pretty well last year statistically. If he’d outplayed his 5-year contract after 1.5 years and demanded a raise everybody would roast him. The Broncos are fine to restructure but “Restructure or we bench you” isn’t a negotiation. I’d tell them to go pound sand too. The way it worked out is the way it should be. Denver wants him gone, Russ plays elsewhere. Now they can pay him $40m per. It’s their own fault for making that stupid trade in the first place. em.
-
Russ played better YT even if he sucked just bench him. Telling the guy “we modify your contract or you get benched” is crao. I hope the NFLPA roasts Denver.
