Jerry has a point. Trump is a delusional nutter. He probably believes a lot of his own malarkey.
-
Pederson made the call to go for it on 4th and 1 already up 15-12 instead of settling for the FG before the half (Philly Special). He also made the call to go for it on 4th and 1 on his own side of the field down 1 with 5 minutes left. A lot of coaches would’ve turtles up and played it “safe.” Those 2 calls arguably won the game. Not to mention redesigning the O on the fly to get the most out of Foles at the end of the year.

If the Eagles were looking for a HC I’d rather hire a young up and comer than a 71 y/o retread.

Not having a filter doesn’t necessarily = honesty. I agree that Trump has the self control of a toddler but he also lies as much as any politician I’ve seen. My question is always whether they’re lies or if he’s a nutter who believes his own malarkey. I’m on the fence there.
-
Never thought I’d see the day someone said Trump’s honesty is his biggest weakness.

What is the state buying? I’m not doubting you just curious.

They’re talking about BB as a potential replacement if Sirianni gets fired. He’s 25-38 in the 4 years since Brady left and 71 years old. Are all fanbases this stupid?

I live in a big city and have worked on many hundreds of RFP responses for state and federal agencies. I can tell you for sure that what you said above is 100% true of all government contractors and doesn’t have a lot to do with unions.
-
Other than public unions like teachers, police, sanitation etc. I can’t think of a lot of instances where governments are directly procuring services to a labor union. For example if the government issues an RFP for constructing a bridge or whatever, they’re usually choosing between a number of contractors who may or may not use union labor vs. considering bids from the union itself and cost is always part of the criteria. The more of a commodity the service or good is the more heavily weighted cost is. Maybe there’s an example I’m not thinking of here. Obviously a politician who is strongly backed by unions can influence a bid so it’s more likely that a union backed company wins. But a politician who is backed by non union Private Company X can do the same thing to pay his donors back. I’m not an expert but I know a little about government bidding.
-
Point taken, but you could say the same things (kickbacks, higher bids etc.) of the non-union businesses that do work with governments too.
-
It’s not arbitrary. They increase the cost of goods and services because union labor costs more.

Maxwell recruited at least one girl who worked in a spa at Mar a Lago.

I’m not going to research this guy. I’m just asking how much time you think Epps should have gotten for what amounted to disorderly conduct?
-
It’s a meaningless gesture, but I support a ceasefire.

He didn’t physically enter the building or assault a cop and got probation and 100 hours of community service. How much jail time was he supposed to get?

All the liberals on this site consider themselves moderates.

On this site even a moderate Dem seems like a Marxist. -

What's up with the illegal Jewish tunnels under NYC?
MDC replied to Cdub100's topic in The Geek Club
They don’t care about Jews. They just hate Muslims and universities. -
Backing away from your claim is probably for the best. Next time you should pause before saying something so dumb.

It was a simple question Clifford.
