I won’t care if Deadspin does end up getting sued and loses. But based on my memory of the article from a week ago, the complaint was that the NFL allows people to dress like that at games and that FOX took a camera angle that made it look like blackface, not that the kid was himself a racist. Hopefully Deadspin pulls the article and issues an apology.

It will be really hard to prove liable in court. No one sane is going to argue that putting a 9 y/o’s face under that headline was responsible.
