My point is that funding or defunding the police isn’t going to stop a crazy person with no criminal record from breaking into your home and hitting your spouse with a hammer. So I don’t see how Pelosi deserved this or is reaping the consequences of what she voted for. Not sure how many different ways I can keep saying this.

The attacker was estranged from his family and had no criminal record that I know of. He also planned to attack Hunter Biden, Gavin Newsome and Tom Hanks of all people. This sounds like a mental health issue vs a criminal or policing issue.

Danny Dimes has more raw talent so far as his arm and athleticism but he’s in a much worse situation with lesser coaching and a worse supporting cast. I’d say DJ is slightly better. When you factor in their contracts though it’s not close - DJ is MUCH worse. Mac makes less than $4m per. DJ is set to earn $35.5m next season and the NYG won’t have an out until 2025. Every GM in football would rather have Mac on his rookie deal right now. He makes less than some backups.
