Way back once upon a time I was in a very strange league like this- 5 WR and return yards counted. One guy traded all of his "stud WRs" to upgrade RB and QB, and then filled out his WR corps entirely with undrafted guys like MarTay Jenkins, Desmond Howard, Tony Horne and Derrick Mason... and destroyed the league. His returner WRs were blowing away "stud WRs" week in and week out.

Well, there is one other obvious reason to buy them- to factor in the 1-2 "didn't have time to do it right" owners that we seem to have every year. At least one always brings a mag to the draft, if you know who he thinks is over/under valued, it makes it much easier to get your value picks where you want them.
