Should TEs have the same "3rd year breakout" tag as WRs do?

Profootballtalk.com links to a page on the Packers' website that announces Brett Favre will retire. The announcement isn't linked to on the front page of the Packers' site, and it does mention that it's special page to handle increased traffic, so it could just be a dummy page in case he retires. We'll obviously update as we know more. Feb. 28 - 12:51 pm etSource: profootballtalk.com

Profootballtalk.com had a link to a page on the Packers' website that apparently was to announce Brett Favre's retirement, but has since been taken down. The announcement wasn't linked to on the front page of the Packers' site, and now requires an administrator login. The page did mention that it was special template to handle increased traffic, so may have been just a dummy page in case Favre retires. We'll update if we find out more. Feb. 28 - 12:51 pm et

ye, go screw urself u hater...giants were the best team in football in the playoffs and thats the only thing that matters aright...now go home and cry in a ball in a dark room u cowboy/packer/patriot...granted im drunk right now and i might come to forget i even typed this, but anways, giants deserved it and pple like u r just sour spoiled aholes who cant take defeat

considering the talent at the CB position in the draft landing to 31, i would be ecstactic as a giants fan, bc it would take a couple of yrs to develop a young corner and its a crapshoot whether he turns out good or not, so getting someone like hall would be a great deal for the giants because they would be addressing their weakest position by far...and this signing will make the pass rush THAT MUCH BETTER

per rotoworld The Charlotte Observer reports that the Panthers have released RB DeShaun Foster. The Panthers had been shopping Foster in recent weeks, but he had a $5.8 million cap number, so it was pretty clear he was eventually going to be released anyway. He'll likely catch on as a backup somewhere. Meanwhile, DeAngelo Williams gets a big boost in value with the move. Feb. 21 - 4:39 pm et

besides the fact u would get colston, heres what ur team will end up looking like team A: jacobs, mjd, turner, wr1, wr2 team B: rb1, mjd, turner, colston, wr2 it comes down to this...would u rather jacobs and a wr1 (moss, owens, fitz, chad,wayne......) or would u rather colston and an rb1 (lt, ap, sjax, addai.....) personally id much rather colston and rb1, so go for it, best of luck

having 2 TEs who can both block and catch as well as these 2 can is a luxury, its a secondarys nightmare trying to figure out which one will do each thing...look at the passing game of teams that pass out of 2 TE formations..off the top of my head dallas is 1 with witten and fasano, colts with clark and utecht, this one is a bad example, clark and olsen, but they both did well

this is exactly why i wait every year and try to hit the right qb in the later rounds like i did with romo last year...but last yr was very strange...romo and DA coming out of nowhere to be top 5, bigben up there also, i dont think it'll be the same this year
-
"maybe even Romo"...are u kidding, he was the second highest scoring fantasy qb...i can see the justification behind going brady then peyton..but romo is definately ahead of brees...for me the order would be 1. brady 2. peyton 3. romo 4. brees 5. palmer then next tier would consist of (out of order): bigben, DA, favre, hassleback, warner (if he starts) and eli sneaking in there

for the record, i was at the parade, and shockey was there, he was wearing a green winter hat with a cup in his hand, probably filled with beer
-
considering they were the underdog in every game by maybe 10 points, and to win those games straight out..ill take that as a compliment
-
i couldnt give 2 shiits about the fantasy implications this could have, as long as the giants keep on winning thats all i care about..yes im a giants fan, im a tad cocky today, but who can blame me
-
as a hardcore giants fan, it was the best play i have ever seen..the escape, the catch, the timing, the need, the situation..unreal...great to be a giants fan, and ofcourse i will be attending the parade tom
-
uuummmm guys, read between the lines...did he give any indication WHO would win 23-17?? as if bc of this comments the pats r like "o before we didnt have to win, but now bc plax predicted something, lets try to prove plax wrong and win this game"...i think they are motivated enough to be where they are...this has no affect on them, and whoever thinks so is ignorant
-
no doubt hes a great college rb, the best his yr, but i noticed the kid runs too upright and almost always bounced everything to the outside looking for the big gain...2 big disasters in the nfl...i agree he wont have the INSANT success and some rbs do wen they come out of college

as a giants fan i couldnt be happier to get rid of him, while he was playing i loved him, but then bailed and had the balls to bash everyone...well look now, we in the superbowl biatch...thanks to a large part to jacobs and bradshaw (SOD) -
HA, someone is jealous, eat it biatch, suprised u came out of ur dark hole to cry to us, get back down there like a good little doggy, and stop hating..it is what it is..if giants lose, so what, they are going up against the greatest team who ever played the game of football...atleast we made it over ur sorry a$$es and actually put up and even better fight than the cowgirls..dont be a hater, just accept defeat

Giants: One of the worst teams to ever make SB
JoeBoxers43 replied to Jesus Christ's topic in FFToday Board
then u obviously havent been following the giants this yr...they have a 10 game road win streak, they knocked out the top 2 seeds in the nfc, they have won 7 in a row...they started off bad, but they finished hotter than any team in the nfl besides the patriots...and u just dont get "lucky" in the playoffs..its not like an act of gd caused them to somehow make their team good overnight while causing the packers and cowboys to not play up to their potential..the better team wins in the playoffs, simple as that -
ye just like the giants will not and cannot beat the bucs, cowboys, and packers...HHAA, see for ur pats its a lose/lose situation...if u win the superbowl, congrats, u were favored from day 1, who would expect anything diff, big deal, u were supposed to win and u did, congrats...but if u lose, u will take the bashing of a lifetime....as for the giants, were r just dam happy to be where we r, winning season for us no matter anyway u slice it, we got nothing to lose...so watch out buddy
-
if by "destroy" u mean "embarrassed by the underdog", then yes im with 10000%
