  4. JoeBoxers43

Who else got lucky this week?

started earnest graham and torrain, thankfully i have brees and tebow (2 qb league)

    Ridley vs. Torain

I have an option to take 1 of these 2 guys with my early waiver pick. Who do you guys think will end up better and why?
  6. Already got Brees locked in. What do you guys suggest. Cutler against a banged up GB defense that have given up a lot of yards in 2 weeks. Or Bradford against Baltimore whos front 7 is the strength, got spanked by Hassleback, but Rams are most likely without SJax again.

    Snap Counts

Any websites that record the snap counts for each player on every team, including D. That would be a verrrrry helpful statistic to follow, rather than seeing random posts on rotoworld for players that have no importance.

    Steve Smith relevant again?

Cam wasn't THAT good. Yes his numbers show otherwise, but the first 70-yard TD strike to Smith was a blown coverage by Adrian Wilson. The rest of the game the Cards stacked the box, 8-9 at a time and left all WRs in single coverage daring Cam to beat them while they stuffed DeAngelo, which is precisely what happened. Cam was also bailed out a lot by terrific catches that were adjusted to his bad passes. The stars were aligned for him this week, but obviously the Cards had the right game plan when Cam finally threw a pick and they won the game.
  12. Simple buy-in so we dont have the budget to spend on a league website. Currently we are using NFL.com which I don't like, ESPN doesnt let me do 6 teams for playoffs (10 team league with IDP). Anyone have any other suggestions that I can use? And I'm not even going to consider yahoo.

    Unique Bye Week Scenario

I think I very well might likely have to do this. I am in a 2 QB PPR league that favors QBs and WRs a lot (obviously). I have the 7th pick so it looks like I will be going Romo with the hopes of Rice falling to 14th overall or trading up for him. Without looking at bye weeks, I looked at all the players I was targeting, my QB combo seem to have the bye weeks and also all my RB targets too. Potentially and realistically I could put together a team like this. QBs - Romo, Flacco/Bradford, McCoy RBs - Rice, SJax/Hillis, Felix, Hightower/Bush WRs - Austin, Marshall (3rd wr ?) Might just a be a sound strategy but I don't think I'd have the jeuvos, let alone the chance for all this to fall into place.

    Minnesota's Defensive TD

it counts against them for only the XP, not the full 7, just 1 since the philly special teams was on the field
  15. 10-man, 2 QBs PPR IDP QB - Manning & Manning - Favre RB - AP RayRice - Lynch Jacobs Pierre WR - Jennings Fitz Harvin - Smith(nyg) Amendola TE - Pettigrew - Hernandez D - Cushing Dansby Bishop Hawk - Dhani Deandre Pollard

    **Official Week 10 F.U. thread......

FU: Peyton Manning for getting outscored by Jimmy Claussen who I'm playing Balt OC for not feed ray rice after that first drive MInn OL who cant even a running lane for AP without getting hit 5 yards in backfield
  18. JoeBoxers43

Did you sell high on Blount?

Blount and Davone Bess for Larry Fitz and Brandon Jacobs. No worries for me will AP and Rice holding down my 1-2. WRs were sorta week with Jennings, Smith (nyg), Bess and Randy

    Need help finding a website.

Which website was it that showed how many snaps every player played on offense and defense. Just want to get a feel of how much my lower-end players played, especially defenders because a lot of sit/start decisions will be made based on opportunity.

ok, you have Forte, ....what can you get for him?

Chicago offense is THE most frustrating offense in the NFL. Could not have been happier to dump Forte. Regarding Maclin, if you look at his game log, do you think he is capable if the 20TD season he is on pace for? He had barely any yardage with Vick and his one monster game came with Kolb with Desean in the game (granted he got that bomb when he left). In any case it was a typical sell high for Maclin when he would be sitting on my bench for Smith anyway who is turning it up. Gonzalez is a waste, Hernandez is 60 yards minimum every week and we play PPR so he's money for me. I do not have to endure Gonzos 2 catch 20 yard games just for the hope he recaptures a 10reception 100 yard game. I'll take the consistency over 5 duds vs 1 stud game. LB in my league are valuable, Hawk is avg 13 points a week. No brainer trade.

ok, you have Forte, ....what can you get for him?

Ideal sell high. In my IDP 2QB league, this is my squad QB - Roth, Orton, Eli RB - AP, Forte, Moreno, Lynch WR - Moss, Jennings, Smith (ny), Maclin, Bess TE - TonyG, Hernandez D - Cushing, Dansby, Bishop, Dhani, James I traded Forte, Maclin, TonyG for RayRice and AJ Hawk It was robbery
  22. It's a loaded question, because are you talking in terms of who is the WR1 for the GIANTS or the WR1 for FANTASY purposes. For fantasy, clearly Nicks. However, for the Giants, Smith is the Giants WR1. Simply put, Manning looks to him for the conversions and the tough catches over the middle. And do not say Nicks gets all the deep throws. He does get most of them, he is their best deep threat, but if you watch every snap like I do (Giants Homer), Smith runs a go route at least 2-3 times a game in which Manning targets him at least on one of them. For defense, they tend to run bracket/blanket coverage on Smith knowing his Manning's favorite target hence leaving Nicks to work 1on1. I think as the year goes on teams will be more inclined to double Nicks as he is the better gamebreaker, but for the Giants, currently Smith is their WR1.

  24. Profootballfocus had a neat program that showed how many snaps each player played, offense and defense. I find this extremely helpful especially in IDP league. Did you guys know that out of 62 plays, Pierre Thomas was only in for 28 while Reggie Bush was in for 36? Hard to believe while you're watching a game, or even following the stats on nfl.com or cbssports.com. Problem is Profootballfocus now charges an insane amount of money this year to view their content which is hardly worth it. If anyone knows of any other sites that compiles snap counts for players or if anyone is interested in a thorough project like this let me know. TIA

    Randy Moss this week?

For what it's worth, I am a Moss owner and I am hoping your right. Unless Rex is lying about Revis shadowing Moss all game, it doesn't look like Revis will be covering Welker who I believe is the center-piece WR on that team.
